Regarding the Int'l Convention in Salt Lake City   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #322 of 525 |

Dear Barbershop friends:

I am sharing an excerpt from an email I received from Larry Clemons, head of Contest & Judging, who is in Salt Lake City and just toured the LDS Theatre in which our Int'l contest will be held.  His email had to do with judging, but his comments are worthy of your consideration.

Larry writes:

"As you know, I went on an extensive tour of the LDS with Ross Olsen and Lee Taylor yesterday.  There are many issues to discuss, but this message has only to do with one issue and therefore I have copied in some other folks.

For anyone who is expecting that the LDS will be some sort of cosmic – high end – greatest thing on planet earth – theater that you have ever seen . . . . . . . please allow me to tell you that it is far more than you can imagine.  The LDS is nothing short of the biggest and best theater anywhere possible.  It will greatly exceed your wildest thoughts. .... I know that our collective goal is to have a great convention.  Certainly we have the venue for it.  I am truly impressed."

Wow!  I hope to see you ALL in Salt Lake City this summer.  It promises to be a convention worth going to.
