Josh and all:
First of all Josh, welcome to the wonderful world of Barbershopping. I spoke to Ernie Nickoson late last night and from what I understand, he has registrations from at least 21 quartets. Swing Time threw our hat in the ring late last night and I know of one other quartet that was registering at the same time that we were registering. So, on with the show!
I'm sure they will have the draw and post the lineup to the Cardinal District website soon. I would also like to ask Ernie Nickoson and Gary Denton to try to communicate better with each other and the district in the future. What I mean by that is, I believe that some people tend to watch to see who has registered for a contest or how many have registered. If you only see 4 choruses and 9 quartets registered the last day of registrations, it may lure you into a false sense of security, or concern, and this may affect your decision to compete or not to compete. It would be nice to see the results updated daily especially the last week or two of registrations.
Good luck to all the contestants! See you in Muncie!
Singcerely,
Ed Hardman
