The 30 man Summit City Chorus and it's 5 quartets will be presenting
their
annual Spring show, "A 'Good-Time' Gospel Jubilee Show" at the
Scottish Rite
Center on April 19, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Concert goers
will hear old favorites such as "There's A Meetin' Here
Tonight", "Just A Closer Walk With Thee", "Swing Low Sweet
Chariot", "This Little Light of Mine", "Amazing Grace", a Gospel
Medley consisting of "How Great Thou Art", "I'll Fly Away", and "When
The Roll Is Called Up Yonder", and many many more.
The second half features Fort Wayne's very own The Chapel Quartet, a
contemporary Southern gospel quartet which has given many inspiring
performances in Fort Wayne and area churches. If you like groups like
The Gaithers, you'll love The Chapel Quartet. This is a family-
friendly concert everyone will enjoy. It is also a great opportunity
for bible classes, ladies groups, and other groups to attend a
Christian concert together. Advance sale tickets are $12 each;
children age 12 and under get in free. Group sales are available with
tickets only $10 each for groups of 25 persons or more. For tickets,
call 438-4465 or 456-8860, or order tickets online at
www.summitcitychorus.org and click on the ticket link in the left
column.
The MC for the show is none other than Kenny Hatton.....need I say
