Howdy,
For cool wheels, buy some clear plastic in the thickness you want. A
small peice for 2 wheels 4" x8". Preferebly PETG. Draw a line down
the middle of the long side. Halfway down the line, drill a hole the
same size as the thumb notch you want. Drill halfway through, then
flip plastic over and finish hole. Depending on the size of the wheel
you want measure from the middle of the hole, down the line on each
side and mark the radius point of your wheel. Take a hole saw the
desired size of your wheel and saw halfway through both radius marks.
Turn over and finish sawing the holes. What is left in the hole saw
is your wheel. dress the edges as desired with sandpaper, etc. Epoxy
your center device for turning the shaft in the center hole. The
center hole may have to be enlarged or a bushing glued in to make it
smaller. Put LED under wheel, KEWL!
