Hey Graham!

Hey, great work on creating the word doc with illustrations for my 32x
memory modification, only just noticed this today!

One note regarding the VCC + GND for powering the new SRAM.....you can
easily just solder these pins to the VCC + ground legs of the ROM chip
sitting next to it without needing to drill through the board.

One thing i wish i did differnetley (and what might need a
daughterboard to accomplish), is to be able to easily remove the SRAM
if all the address pins & power etc. wasn't soldered directley to the
IC legs....that way (i believe) you could interchange/backup/ and even
directley burn new samples into SRAM without needing to record via the
SK's A/D converter (via Eprom Reader/burner). I might try adding an
external ZIF socket on my SK-5 to accomplish just this.....but it is
risky if water came in contact with it, could perhaps blow the
CPU....so would need some sought of cover.

Anyways, great work.....I wonder how many people have expanded the
memory in their SK's so far?

seeya
