Sk-5 died on me...any ideas! ?   Message List

Hey everyone,

I have an SK-5 that I have spent a ridiclous amount of time housing in a nice
wooden case and bending. It worked fine until the other day. I think I might
have had my wall-wart thing set to 9v instead of 7.5 centre negative. I tried
it a couple of times and it didnt work..

Now the on led comes on normally, but none of teh keys do anything or make any
sound!!

Id be extremely sad if it was a write off, so if anyone has any ideas how to
bring it back or what might of happened, I would be hugely appreciative!

:)

Thanks

Robodelfy, The SK1 I got at a garage sale didn't have the wall wart, so I bought one of those voltage-selectable ones at Radio Shuck. Not to get your hopes up,...
