"I found your site, Celtic MP3's.com, while looking for a source of
Celtic music online. I am a writer (aka Amy Busby) and most of my
stories involve Scotland or Ireland in one way or another. I have
found it easier to write if I am listening to celtic music and your
site has been a great help!"
-Amy Shultz, Arizona
Woohoo! I was ablet o pull off one more issue before I leave
tomorrow for Italy! I found some great Christmas tracks
through Celtic Ways ( http://www.Celticways.com/ ) to finish
off the holiday season.
Though it's not featured this year, the Brobdingnagian Bards
have two lovely instrumental versions of "Carol of the Bells" and
"Greensleeves" (aka "What Child Is This?") at

Canon PowerShot S30

I got the camera a couple days ago and have been trying it
out. It is fantastic! It has ton of features from the typical
red-eye removal to AVI video recording. Plus, it works
great for taking low light shots. Unlike past digital cameras
I've used this one has a lot of customization features, as if
you wanted to take a 35mm picture. I love that. But it's just
as easy to get up and start shooting snapshots to upload to
your computer. Fantastic camera!

2. Claire Roche- "Dun Oìche Ùd I mBeitheal"
http://mp3.com/ClaireRoche?cm
http://www.claireroche.com/
=================================================
Claire Roche is a composer of songs for Harp and Piano,
including setting the poetry of W.B. Yeats and Austin Clarke
to music, Irish songs, instrumentals, and Wedding music.
"Dun Oìche Ùd I mBeitheal" is a traditional song from Claire's
upcomgin CD, "Live Wanderings" and is an Irish translation of
"To That Special Night In Bethlehem ...". It features Claire's
gorgeous ethereal vocals and harp playing that is making her a
favorite around Europe and at weddings. Keep an eye on her
website for this new album. The tracks I've heard so far from
the album are amazing!

The Bells of Dublin" by The Chieftains
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000003F53/thebards/
=================================================
The Bells of Dublin is hailed as one of the best Chieftains
albums out there. It's packed with great music that is suitable
for any time of year, but includes over a score of great
holiday tunes for the Christmas season. Teaming up with
a cast of great performers, the music shines bright with such
favorites as Burgess Meredith and Kevin Conneff in "Don
Oiche Ud im Beithel" and "Wren in the Furze", " The Wexford
Carol" with Nanci Griffith, "O Holy Night" with Rickie Lee
Jones, and plenty more.

4. The Wyndbreakers- "Jingle Bellski"
http://mp3.com/Wyndbreakers?cm
http://www.wyndbreakers.com/
=================================================
The Wyndbreakers are a popular Celtic band from Florida.
Their music ranges from Irish Rovers to Riverdance. Their
funny name from what I've heard is the perfect name for a fun
party band playing an array of Scottish and Irish music from
ttaditional ballads to lively tunes with a dash of humor thrown
in between. Folks who come to see them live tap their toes and
hum the songslong after we are gone, on their way home
and in their sleep.
This live recording features The Wyndbreakers Russian
version of a traditional Christmas folk song. It's a rocking
lively mp3 that will both educate you and bring a smile to
your face.

5. Ren Radio
http://www.renradio.com/
=================================================
Ren Radio has put together a special Christmas program for
those interested in Celtic and Renaissance music. It is a mix
of Christmas tunes through out the ages. It purposely avoids
any "over played" ones and tried to find the most unique and
rare recordings he had.
