Well, I had a wonderful vacation and wish I didn't have to
come back. How I love Europe! Ah well, I am happy
however to present two wonderful new artists: Donna
Germano and Hugh Morrison.

Canon PowerShot S30

I got the camera a couple days ago and have been trying it
out. It is fantastic! It has ton of features from the typical
red-eye removal to AVI video recording. Plus, it works
great for taking low light shots. Unlike past digital cameras
I've used this one has a lot of customization features, as if
you wanted to take a 35mm picture. I love that. But it's just
as easy to get up and start shooting snapshots to upload to
your computer. Fantastic camera!

2. Donna Germano - "Ye Banks and Braes"
http://mp3.com/DonnaGermano?cm
http://www.classictouchmusic.com/
=================================================

Donna sings Celtic songs and plays hammered dulcimer,
Celtic harp and pedal harp. Her music includes Classical,
Celtic and other types of folk music. Other instruments on
her recordings include flute, cello and classical guitar in
various combinations. Music includes classical music for
small ensembles, Celtic airs and dances.

"Ye banks and Braes" is a very beautiful and simplistic
song performed on the harp and complimented by
Donna's classically trained vocals. A nice waltzing
rhythm makes this a very romantic, sweet and lilting
song. It's very easy to listen to Donna for hours!

4. Hugh Morrison - "4-4 MARCHES"
http://mp3.com/Wyndbreakers?cm
http://www.hughmorrison.co.uk
=================================================

Every now and then I get this craving to hear a different
style of Celtic music I don't normally listen to. Fortunately,
I found a delightful accordian player based here in Texas
named Hugh Horrison.

Hugh was born in the town of Wick, Caithness, in the far
north of Scotland where he learned to the 3 Row Button
Key Accordion from his the likes of Jimmy Shand, Willie
Graham, Cam MacKay and Ali MacGregor of the Tain
Scottish Dance Band. He toured throughout Europe and
acheived numerous successes before moving to Houston,
Texas in 1998.

These tunes were composed by 3 great musicians. The first
is called "Jane & Graham's Welcome to Tain" by Hugh's
friend Ali MacGregor of the Tain Scottish Dance Band, the
second is "Forty-Six Seconder" by Freeland Barbour & the
thirdis "The Garden of Skye" by the late Addie Harper
from Wick.
