The purpose of this group is to discuss UK music charts. But not what we think of particular records in the chart, as there are already other groups for that. This groups is for those that are interested in the numbers. That includes discussions about records (in the sense of "Most weeks at number 23" and such), about the methodology for compiling the charts, about collecting charts (but also about collecting music based on the charts), about chart databases, chart books, chart magazines, chart websites, and so on.

There are only two rules for postings:
1) It's got to have something to do with music charts and
2) It's not about whether you like the current number one or not.
