Greetings, Everyone!

Guess what? We are going to have to change the date, venue and the band lineup for the CCMS Holiday Event. This is highly unfortunate, but Bob Patterson aka Bogey and The Thrillhammers all have prior commitments for the 6th. We tried to change the date to the 13th to accommodate the band only to find out that Downtown Kitchen is booked for other holiday parties on both the 13th and 6th so the venue took the 6th away from us. So we approached The Tavern and the venue is available on Sunday, December 7th. We are switching the date to Sunday, December 7th and the venue will be The Tavern on Bells Ferry. The event will be earlier again from 6-9PM and then we will have a Holiday Jam, just like last year. We will have raffle tickets for sale and the admission will be $5. We have also asked The Tavern to prohibit smoking in the room where the CCMS event is for our members who prefer a smoke-free environment, at least up until 9PM. The Tavern agreed to do that.

What we need now are bands and singer/songwriters who are available to perform on December 7th. You must be a member (or be in a band that has at least one CCMS member) to perform. If you would like to perform, please email me ASAP and we will do our best to fit you into the lineup for the night. Sanders will be our soundman once again and he will be providing a PA and backline including a drumkit for us.

And for those who don't know, Sanders hosts an open mic every Monday night at The Tavern. So stop by and see him and sign up to perform at his open mic in Cherokee County.
