Hi there netters,

We are writing to you today seeking people who would love to be part of a live radio show each and every week on the new "Harmony Network", broadcasting from Upper Montclair, NJ.  Most of the positions will work out of the Network's broadcast Studio in Upper Montclair, however, check out the "Acappella News" Show description below that can be done from any part of the world.

We are still in need of people who have an interest in being a RADIO SHOW HOST, BOARD OPERATOR, SHOW CO-HOST or in any number of ways a HELPER on The Harmony Network.

This venture is in it's infancy, and we are trying to provide "Live", " Interractive" radio broadcasts throughout the week.  The Network is staffed by an "All-volunteer" group of people who love vocal harmony.  We are currently looking for the following key positions:

SHOW HOSTS - We have opening for hosts to present weekly shows on Friday                             and Sunday.   You will be able to develop your own show
format and play the artists you love.  The Friday show will air
from 7-10PM.  The Sunday show can be planned  for early
afternoon or in the evening.  We also are accepting "Show
Concepts" for new shows at other times during the week.
SHOW HOST - "The Gospel Fest"  This Show will air on Sunday Morning from
10:00AM - 12:00 Noon.  This show will feature music from both the
contemporary and barbershop library, but also music from local and
                            regional gospel groups.
BOARD OPERATORS- We need people to assist the host on Tuesday night
on "Tuesday Night Swipes" with Marty Israel, and Sunday on the                                 show hosted by Renee Craig.  Your job would be to learn how to
operate the broadcast board so that the show runs smoothly.
HELPERS- Every show that broadcasts from The Harmony Network will have
the ability to receive requests by telephone, and to participate
in a "chat" room while the show is ont he air.  We need folks who
can answer and screen calls during the broadcast and to respond
to emails and questions that come through the chat room.  Helpers
in most instances will not be required to be "On The Air" or to
                            operate the board.

In addition to the music shows, we are looking to develop a new show that would be a "Talk Show" with two hosts, ideally one man and one woman.  This show would be a very interractive show with the hosts presenting topics of the week and fielding phone calls from all over the country.  Almost like a "live" version of some of the existing discussion groups.  This could become the most popular show on the Network with the interest in talk radio throughout this country.

Finally, if you are a person who enjoys gathering information and putting together presentations, we need your help.  The Harmony Network wants to be the place where folks can check out all of the shows that will be presented during the week.  This show, called something like "A Cappella News from around the world" and will be precorded and broadcast throughout the week.  The "Host" of this show will work throughout the week gathering the show announcements from the discussion lists or resources developed by the host.  After compiling the "news" of the week, the host will record , or send the information to someone to record, the show.  We envision maybe a 15 minute to one half hour show.

So there you have it.... THN...The Harmony Network is off and running...won't you contact us and help us make this venture the "Premire" spot for radio broadcasts to listeners who love a cappella and barbershop harmony.  Check out the Network's website at www.harmonize.com/thn to see news about the venture.

Please email me at RMTMUSIC@... to let me know that you are interested in becoming part of The Harmony Network Family.  We would love to talk to you.
