NEW CD BURNER SALE!!!

The Shame File CD burner is on its way out and funds are low. Many of the Shame File releases are on CDR, so without a CD burner it will make things tough. But funds are low at the Shame File headquarters, so here's your chance to help out...

The first 10 people to spend AU$10 (US$7) or more on any Shame File items before 29 October 2003 will be able to select any item and have it delivered to them for free after I have purchased a new burner. If ten lovely people can help out, I would be hoping to purchase the new burner in November/December. Then I will send you your selected free item. Of course, you get the items you pay for straight away.

$10 doesn't sound like much and it's not. I do mostly trades so that is why cash flow is slow. So go ahead, help me out and get some great sounds as well.

RECENT ADDITIONS TO SHAME FILE

Undecisive God - "Offering" CD The concept behind most of the recordings on this full-length CD is the combination of guitar drones of varying tones and textures into a series of canon-based arrangements, exploring the dynamics resulting from the interplay of multiple layers of sound, both through composition and pure chance. This is also the first major Undecisive God release using mostly digital recording methods. - AU$8ppd (US$6ppd)

Don’t forget to get your contributions in for the upcoming Shame File Compilation of Australian experimental music.  Submissions close 30 November 2003, but I will be away most of November so if you want the chance of some feedback on your submissions be best to get your sounds to me soon.  See the web site for full details.

Here’s a new web site for The Unnameable as well.  This is still under construction, but does feature mp3s of the entire “But of that, I will not speak…” CD and other details.  Coming soon will be a dreadfully detailed history of our ritual experiments and other nameless tracts.  We are also working on some soundtrack work for two different short films with Lovecraft themes.
