*Terra Australis Incognita series – call for submissions
Terra Australis Incognita is a new series of releases from Shame File Music. The
series
seeks to document notable Australian experimental artists (both established and
lesser
known) by commissioning them to produce an EP of material that will then be made
available for free downloading online, as well as on CDR. Promotional copies
will also be
produced and distributed.
The series consists of 6 EPs around 20-30 minutes in duration, released
approximately 2
months apart. The first EP will be released mid-2005.
Shame File will invite some select artists to participate, and unsolicited
demos/proposals are
also invited at this time.
