Terra Australis Incognita mp3 EP series

This new series seeks to document notable Australian experimental artists (both established and lesser known) by commissioning them to produce an EP of material that will then be made available for free downloading online, as well as on CDR.

Volume I by W.I.T. "While You Were Ill..." was released in June for free downloading

Volume II by Melbourne's The Feeder "Locus of Variation" has just been released.  The music is eerie, minimalist, and subtly compelling.  The Feeder's first few releases explored power electronics, but this new more subtle direction see's this young Melbourne artist excel.

Volume III in the series will be by Undecisive God, available in October.  Submissions are still open to interested artists, but get in fast because the spots are filling up.

Volvox "Egg, Pluto Pup and You" CD - the final in the trilogy of posthumous releases by one of Australia's strangest bands.  The best of the lot to my ears, most reminiscent of their live performances of all the 3 CDs.  Worth the price for the cover of "Wuthering Heights" alone. - $15ppd
