Welcome to the Coffee House Tour Java News list! This is an atmosphere of support and encouragement as well as an outlet for the promotion of musicians and venues that enjoy Coffee/Tea House music atmospheres. Although we are pretty loose and believe in being "free to be"....We do have just a few rules we require that you follow in order to remain on the list.

1. Please avoid using this list as an additional private mailing list or a sales outlet for merchandise or sales advertising without prior approval from our moderators. NO CROSS POSTING. We want to support you, but we require that you have a genuine interest in this list and not be just collecting additional promotional email addresses. WE WILL NOT APPROVE POSTS THAT ARE OF NO BENEFIT OR INTEREST TO OUR LIST MEMBERS.

2. You may post in general as often as you like, but only one entry per month with your gig schedule and we ask that you post ONLY those gigs related to Coffee Shop performances. We have created this website exclusively for those type of venues and the musicians that enjoy performing in them.

3. You must show respect to list members at all times. Poster bashing and argumentative diatribe are not permitted. It's ok to disagree with someone, but do so with respect.

4. No attachments, jokes or political/religious propaganda are permitted.

5. The members list is to be used for one on one networking only. DO NOT disrespect a list member by spamming them unannounced or adding them to your personal email lists without permission. If that happens you will be removed from the list, no warnings.

6. Everyone is free to use the calendar. Please set it to NOT send reminders. Anyone failing to HEAR me on that will be the cause of the calendar being shut down for use.
