Mile High Festival?! I heard that was absolutely packed in the middle of July last summer~100 degrees & there was zero for scenery. Seems an unlikely spot for the likes of Panic, but we'll see...
Sunny did give us a personal guarantee on RR. Unfortunately & sadly enough, the band doesn't have as much say in regards to alot of issues these days. We can only hope for the best!! Lucky for the good 'ol days for sure.

I've heard a similar rumor on the ground here in Boulder/Denver.
But the Phish rumor is also rampant (playing Red Rocks) and this guy was the one that reported that as well...
I find it hard to believe that WSP would pass up a guaranteed pay day at RRocks but if this guy is for real and got this info directly from Buck, that kind of 'evidence' is really hard to argue with...
Maybe the success of shows at The Pepsi Can means that is the venue in Denver for WSP from now on?

Just wanted to know if you all know anyone looking to rent a house right now?
Keith and I are trying to find someone to rent our house at 48th & Lowell. Attached please find a brochure with pictures.
It's a great house in a great neighborhood! It's 2 blocks to Regis University. It's 1 block to the Rocky Mountain Lake Park. It's close to Tennyson Square and Highlands Square. It is only 10 minutes or less to downtown.
The house has 5 bedrooms(2 upstairs and 3 downstairs), two living rooms (one upstairs, one downstairs), kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances, 2 full bathrooms, patio, washer and dryer, 2 car attached garage, hardwood floors upstairs, and brand new windows. The entire house has been remodeled, brand new everything. It's really nice!
Let me know if any of you are interested or know anyone who might be. We would rather rent it to a friend or a friend of a friend if possible. We got our last renter through the Denver Post and they did not work out so well.
Yeah, I’ve been meaning to order my Galactic tix as well.
Thanks, they’re ordered now! J

Howdy Kin-
In the midst of the holidays when tickets went on sale, I completely forgot
about this show. I checked on TM and it seems as though the only tickets
available are those WAY overpriced on the Marketplace and Auction.
So anyhow, if anyone has 2 extras I would most appreciate it. So would my wife,
especially given that it is Valentine's Day.
Thanks

From today's blog:
Widespread Panic manager Buck Williams called Thursday to calm rumors that the band will return to the Pepsi Center for the next few New Year's Eves. They might, he said, but, er, doubtful. He says some confusion might have arisen in that the band has a "hold" on the Eve at the Pepsi Center for a number of years. I say Spreadheads should remain optimistic. Williams did say that they would not play Red Rocks this summer.
No Red Rocks eh? Not trying to start nasty rumors or anything, but it's been 11 years since they last toured Europe…

Widespread Panic had such a great time at the Pepsi Center on Dec. 30 and 31, they're coming back. Often. Insiders say the band will be back for the next four years for New Year's concerts at the Pepsi Center. Of course, a lot can happen between now and then.
"All I can say is, I can't say anything," says Panic promoter Bill Bass. And here's a fun fact. We hear the band broke alcohol-sales records at the Pepsi Center both nights.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and 2009 is treating you well!!! I mentioned prior to the holidays that I am working on a bill that will ban scalping in Colorado, something 13 states already do and with your help, Colorado will be the next! This morning I received the first draft of the bill and it looks great. This bill, if passed, will ban brokers and scalpers from reselling an event ticket for over face value plus $5 or 25%, whichever is greater. This bill would also prohibit the primary, licensed ticket seller from charging over 10% of face in service fees. So what does that look like? A broker/scalper could sell a $50 ticket for no more than $62.50. Ticketmaster could charge no more than $5 on a $50 ticket in service fees.
This is a pretty lofty goal folks but something, after conversations with you all, I think we all would like to see. And can certainly pass but not without the help of each of you! Again, this bill will be heavily lobbied by industry folks that are very well versed on taking bills like this down so it will be extremely important for each of you to contact your legislators and ask them to support this bill. But not just yet. All I need you all to do now is email me at fansforfairticketing@gmail.com so I can add you to the mailing list.
Thanks and I hope you are all well!!!

I also have a friend who has ONE ticket in section 148, not sure what row, but a duo could get in the same section. tracilynn1122@... is the contact for that one. :)
