Dear IFS Readers,

First I promised my wife I would attempt to book a few wonderful
entertainers, bands, and singer songwriters for an event in San
Marcos Texas on Saturday October 9th, 2004 called Pet Fest.
Pet Fest is held by an organization called
"PALS - Prevent a Litter of Central Texas"

PALS is a non profit orgainzation whose primary mission is help end
pet overpopulation and pet homelessness in the central Texas area.
They offer financial assistance and low cost programs to help people
spay or neuter their pets. They offer educational programs on
responsible pet ownership and help advertise homeless pets available
for adoption.

It's a small well run organization that operates on a tight budget.

Pet Fest is a funds and awareness raiser for PALS.

People show up in droves with their pets to enjoy all the activities.

If pets are near and dear to your heart and you'd like to meet and
make more fans in San Marcos Texas, please contact me and let's
discuss booking you to a slot. So far ASG's President Adam Donmoyer
has committed to play and host the ceremonies. Again Please contact

In the last IFS issue I told y'all about MySpace.com
As I was trying it out, getting active in the community and testing
it so I could tell y'all more about it, I got in trouble with
MySpace.com, so now when you go to
http://www.myspace.com/ande
it reads
"Invalid friend ID. Try a different ID."
I haven't heard the exact reason
they chose to suspend my membership.
I'll let you know if I do.

Today I realized one of my songwriting goals

A few years ago I decided that I wanted to hear one of my songs sung
by a choir of children. It had been months since I'd been to church
but on a whim I decided to go today. When I arrived I noticed in
the program that the Cub Choir consisting of 8 children were going to
sing "One Big Family" which is a song I wrote with Greg Valente.
It was a thrill to hear and watch those kids perform it.

Write down your songwriting goals then work to make them happen.
