Dear IFS Readers

I hope this email finds you well

I've spent the last 3 days at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead Atlanta,
getting trained for work. It reminded me that there are techniques we
could immediately apply to our businesses and lives that could
transform the quality of our lives forever.

here's a convoluded question

Why don't we do the things we know we need to do?

Last week I received a rough draft of a new song Wake Eastman and I
cowrote.

Thursday night I watched Wynonna Judd on Larry King and it remined me
that watching artist interviews can be an extremely useful way to
find song ideas and write whats in the head, heart and life of a
particular artist.

I hope you find something useful in this issue.

Ande Rasmussen

Whenever some major disaster strikes, rest assured there will be a
flurry of tribute songs from well meaning songwriters who want to
help.

Here's a couple stories:
I had a listen to it, it's actually quite good.

TEAM EFFORT: Singer Jean Carlos Casely, left, and producer Jason
Farmer, both of Coral Springs, are the creative forces behind ˜Unsung
Hero," a tribute to hurricane evacuees.

Here's the story of another that's attracted some serious star power.

'The Heart of America': 'It's a song that belongs to the people'
Hurricane relief ballad makes debut on TV

As a guest on NBC's "Today Show" on Monday, Tim Blixseth said he was
humbled when his song "The Heart of America," was played to images of
hurricane victims.
"It was no longer my song. It's a song that belongs to the people and
it's now going to help make a difference," said the Rancho Mirage
resident, who was at the home of designer Donna Karan in New York
during the interview.

Blixseth, along with his wife, Edra, will give $2 million to build
homes for displaced residents of Hurricane Katrina as the start of a
$100 million campaign that involves NBC and Habitat for Humanity.
