Hello all. Newbie here with a new DTXpress IV V2 (special). I'm having
trouble getting any sound out of the foot pedal of the RHH135 HiHat.
It's on the HS650A stand that came with the kit. I have verified I
have the HiHat and HiHat Controller cables connected correctly. I get
sound when I strike the HiHat but nothing when using the foot pedal.
What am I missing?

I can't seem to find anything in the manual that explains how to
verify the foot pedal should be set up in the module.

I have the RHH135 resting on the stand base. Is that correct?

Any and all help will be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

DH

I am not familiar with the RHH135, but the setup instructions should
have come with it. If not, go here:
http://www.yamaha.co.jp/manual/english/ and type RHH into the search
and download the manual for the RHH. It explains how to set up the
hihat. I am not sure about the module, but I know the DTXpress III
module was not shipped with the correct setup for the RHH even if you
bought the "special" version. You may need to go to the trigger setup
edit (page 36 of the DTXpress IV manual onwards)and make sure that
the hihat is set up as RHH.

Keith.

Hi
there is a manual for the rhh130 and it's in the files section... I had problems
setting up the one I added to my dtx1 kit too, but the following of the manuals
instructions will get it working again... look in files under manual with
palomineo as the creator of the manuals folder and you'll find it
Tom

I finally got it working. I had to tear the stand all apart... found
the shaft wasn't set properly. It's all good now. :D
