The progressive/avante/unusual music record shop Recommended Records,
run by Chris Cutler (Henry Cow, &c), is having a sale throughout
December. From the specials web page:

As you know, ReR was set up in the hope of introducing new music to an
interested public - that's why so many releases were and are by unknown
artists. However, the brutal truth of the last years is that the
listenership for fringe musics has shrunk enormously - and of course
it's the new and little known artists who have suffered the most. ReR
continues to support innovative music but, since we are not funded, it
becomes a problem these days even to recover the costs of manufacture
on the less obvious titles. Therefore this sale - to encourage the
hesitant, or impoverished, to find ears for outsider artists and - not
least - to help recover some of the cost of slow moving stock. Here's
the offer:

SALE CLOSES December 31st.
