Go to http://www.rermegacorp.com/index.htm for all your Faust, Henry
Cow and Slapp Happy needs - it's the company run by ex HC drummer Chris
Cutler.
Here's what I think you need -
Faust: The Wumme Years Box Set (which includes So Far). If that's too
much then just try The Faust Tapes for the more manic / cut-up Faust
material.
Henry Cow: all 4 studio albums have been remastered and re-released
over the past year or so. They all sound fantastic.
Slapp Happy - well, you should get everything. Their first 2, "Sort Of"
and "Acnalbasac Noom" has Faust as the backing band. "Sort Of" is
available through voiceprint.co.uk whilst Acnalbasac is available at
ReR. The 2-fer is excellent as well - note that the first Virgin
release and Acnalbasac contain the same songs, mostly. "Ca Va", their
1999 release is great in parts. The Japan Live stuff from 2000 is
pleasant enough but is really for completists only.
