Of course also in line with 'Darinist' principles (well, ok, libertarian ones) we could discuss this on the list if and when it happens on a case by case basis and perhaps suggest to the offender that they cease and desist or that they may even like to leave. But I hate to impose rules.

Yes, they change their tactics every few years and try to get in under another disguise. School boards have enough to do without dealing with that nonsense.

Yahoo! Autos. Looking for a sweet ride? Get pricing, reviews, more on new and used cars.
I'm not sure I can do that. If anyone gets abusive, we have the
option not to read the posts and surely they will get bored and go
away. We are all grown ups here and I'm sure we can deal with a
little agro. No limits to freedom of speech is what I have promised.
I don't know if Yahoo has its own filters to catch blatantly obscene
language. I suspect they do.Hopefully Darin followers will be
intelligent and mature. And we'll keep Sarah out as she's underage.
Minimum joining age, 21. So we cant be accused of corrupting innocent
minds.

You could call it Darinistas if you wanted a political tone, but I think Darinites is just fine, I agree about avoiding the word "fan" if possible.
Any suggestions? I would welcome any, even a name change if you can suggest a more original one.

Unfortunately most of the DVD's I saw were corrupted towards the end and I only got to see the ending of 1 show.
Yup I also noted Rex Reed and Little Richard validating Darin and was very pleased about that.

It's been a while since I've seen them, so I can't say. One thing I
liked was how much praise some of the other guests gave Darin. Rex Reed praised Darin's acting, and Little Richard comments how versatile Bobby was! It's clear that he was well thought of, and I liked to have that validated. Did you see at the end of the last show when Darin went up to an audience member to ask her to dance on the stage with him? She refused! I'm sure she's kicking herself to this day! Probably just too shy.

Ew, I hope so too. I sure can't afford to get them from Douglas show
for $95 a pop, if they even sell them to individuals. Well, I'll see.

I've been told that some airhead on the google list blabbed about him making those shows available, and the Darin website got a reminder from the Mike Douglas SHow people that those are not to be copied! I hope this does not create any difficulties for Schnurr.
You'd have to find out from Mary Lil. I don't understand. Yeah,
debate with MaryMod is pointless but I'd still had enough of her hot
air.
And I've only seen the first two Douglas shows, Monday and Tuesday, but

Dunno.
Myra
I had discussed politics just a little bit with Mary before she started her own list. I wanted to believe her when she said she would not limit political discussion, but I'm not really surprised at her actions now. I just don't understand how she can be a Darin fan and yet understand so little about him. Oh well, we have this and other lists were we can talk.
