The Beatles are the greatest band, ever, no questions in my mind.
There is an artist I've been a fan of for about a year and he
resembles The Beatles in many ways. According to some rabid fans,
Marshall wrote a number of songs with Ringo Starr and has known him
for quite a while. Someone said he may have been the guy one of
Ringo's son went to school with and he always speaks highly of in
interviews. Some folks have lead me to believe he is some type of
industry songwriter, though I haven't been able to confirm this. I
was hoping that someone could explain in great detail this connection
Marshall shares with Ringo or that you might even know Marshall.
Nevertheless, I was wondering if anyone has heard Craig Marshall's
new cd, Popular Crimes? He played the IPO festival in Chicago about a
year ago and I had the pleasure of seeing him play to a pretty large
crowd. The set he did that night was full band electric. I got to
meet him after the show and he signed some merchandise for me. I
bought another copy of P.C. from cdbaby recently and I believe that
you can listen to the cd on that page. If that doesn't work, you can
go to his official site.
