First, you'll be thrilled to hear that I finally found my remote bag. So
you can stop looking. [grin]

Second, this Thursday on "Alive & Kickin' with Leesa Marie Benz" [which i
currently sidekick], will be devoted completely to the history, art, and
upcoming shows of local Barbershop. There will be folks from Surfside and
Heart Of Daytona and Famous Beach to talk about Barbershop. There will also
be at least one quartet [mine] to do something live. Your quartet is also
invited if you'd like to do some live radio. I also have some "Nightlife"
to play. If you know of any other groups that would like some airtime,
bring their CD or tape.

For those of you who've been hiding in a cave for a few months, this radio
show is on every Thursday afternoon at 5 P.M. on WELE-AM 1380. Leesa won't
be there this week since she is doing her Marilyn Monroe look-a-like thing
during Bike Week for fun and profit. The show is generally about
entertainment but also covers social and political stuff on occasion. I am
Leesa's demented henchman, Igor. Try to remember that if you're on the air
as I do not respond to any other name during the show. [snicker]

Those of you scheduled to be on the air should be at the station by 4:45
P.M. so we're all ready to go on time. WELE is located at:

It is about 1/4 mile south of SR 40 [Granada] across from the Rennaisance
Plaza on the west side of Nova if you're coming from the north. It is about
2/3 mile north of Hand Avenue if you're coming from the south. You can't
get there from the east or west so don't try.

This is a half-hour show but will doubtless run over. A tape will be made
for future reference or those who are out of range of the station.

It is also a call-in show so you can participate from afar by calling the
on-air line at 386-677-1380 or *1380 if you have a Cingular cell phone. We
