On behalf of the Christmas Show committee, I'd like to thank all of you who
showed up at the Seabreeze run-thru last night for your time and efforts.
It really is a group endeavor and I appreciate your energy and commitment.
It was also great to see us doing all the 8-parters without any paper! [YEA!]
As for the risers, we may end up using our own, after all, since the
Seabreeze risers have no backs and we don't have quite enough room on the
ones they do have. We'll work that out at the Tech on 5 Dec.
Surfside, remember the Huntington is closed Tuesday and we'll be at
Schnebly on Monday [25 Nov] instead of our normal Tuesday rehearsal.
Escapade will be there as well as all the speaking parts so we can do some
more tweaking.
Speaking parts, we will have line and blocking rehearsals next week. We'll
let you know when and where. We want those parts of the show to move along
smartly and not delay the singing.
Has everyone sold all their tickets?
If you haven't put your name and lunch preference on one of our show
sign-up sheets, yet, they will be at Schnebly on Monday. We're also taking
your wrapped package containing a token gift worth no more than $5 for use
as props onstage and then to be distributed at the Afterglow.
Surfside, if you haven't picked up a black t-shirt, they are on sale at
Bealls Outlet for $2.98. If I haven't seen your Christmas casual, yet,
bring it Monday for review.
It's 2 1/2 weeks till show time so polish up those lyrics and sell those
tickets!
Thanks.
KTWWS & HTW!
