osunlade, andy caldwell, dalunartikz etc give us further insight into
the state of soul-infused music of today's discerning dancefloors. nik
p, an obscure greek guy with an impeccable taste in jazzy beats,
provides us two excellent sets of modern electronic/jazz fusion;
included are some of the best underground nu-jazz artists, with their
latest releases (vogado projects, modaji, salvador group, kahuun,
gerardo frisina, mo horizons, moodymann, kaidi tatham etc). dj
j-tronik (chicago, il) is truly an all-around house connoisseur,
contributing a total of more than 6.5 (!!!) hours of contemporary &
old school dance music, ranging from techno & tech-house, to deep
house, to jazzy, latin & vocal house. londoners chris beck & jerry
sheldon, aka escape committee, have prepared, exclusively for DHA, a
'deep latino-disco' set; this fine blend of soulful & jazzy deep house
tunes features cuts by carlos rodriguez, negrocan, dubtribe sound
system, knee deep, 95 north, king unique etc and it's set to rock your
hearts & feet--trust us! steve holden, championing a music style that
has become very popular with DHA-attendees, is back with another
winning set of killer funky, clubby house strictly made for
dancing...dj attitude, the man from new york city, makes his first
appearance on DHA with a vocal & disco-house set leaving promise for
even greater things in the future--keep an eye on this guy!
