Thanks for the review. It sounds cool but how disappointing that he only
played two new songs. That's a sign of the times. It's tough to get interest in
your new material with no mainstream radio format to support it. Maybe Dennis
should follow the Journey precedent and do a Wal Mart only deal.
I saw Hank Horton for the first time with the James Young Group in Dayton,
Ohio on 5/22/94. It was a great show. I saw him with Dennis, just under 10
years later, on 1/16/94 here in Indianapolis. I guess he's the only person
who's
worked on a solo project of two different Styx members. I'm glad he's working
with Dennis now because I've lost a lot of respect for JY in recent years
because of his negative comments about Dennis.
I'm an acquaintance of nearly 10 years of Tom Sharpe, who has done some
drumming with Dennis recently. I discovered Tom through a band called Jester's
Crown.
I hope to see you all at the DD concert here in Indianapolis on the Friday
of Labor Day weekend.
