-The Haunted To Be Featured On MTV2's Headbangers Ball This Week

Swedish thrash titans The Haunted will be the featured guests on
MTV2's Headbangers Ball this Saturday, Dec. 4th. The group are
currently wrapping up the Devastation Across The Nation Tour alongside
Damageplan and Shadows Fall; look for them to make their U.S. return
in the spring. Their new video "All Against All" was shot by acclaimed
director Roger Johansson (In Flames, Soilwork), expect a new video for
the track "99" to surface early next year.

Now four albums into the band's stellar career, The Haunted have
returned with their most savage assault yet, proving that there truly
is no compromise. Their new disc, rEVOLVEr, featuring the long
anticipated return of original vocalist Peter Dolving, is also the
group's most dynamic offering to date. The innovators of Swedish
thrash metal have returned, and they are ready to lay waste to
anything that stands in their way.

"Who needs Slayer when you have The Haunted."
--Decibel

"The Haunted might be the most devastating combo in recent years to
revive thrash metal's menacing specter."

-Trouble Reveal New Songs Amidst Set List In Chicago

Having destroyed the western suburbs the previous week Trouble moved
eastward November 27th and blasted the Windy City by playing a gig and
laying waste to the local Chicago club the Nite Cap.

Located just off of Irving Park Rd. in Chicago the Nite Cap bar is a
really annoying venue to see band at. The bar itself is plopped down
in the middle of the room where the tiny stage is. This leaves about a
space of five feet between the front of the stage and the north end of
the bar making patrons have to spill out along the sides of the bar in
order to get a glance at the band playing. Obviously the owners value
the sale of booze more than they do the actual comfort of the people
in their venue. I won't be back. That being said I was more than happy
to attend my second Trouble show in two weeks. As the Beatles' "I Am
The Walrus" came out of the speakers the faithful knew that Trouble
were ready to go, and the band came up onto the stage amidst a great
ovation and large plumes of smoke kicking into "Touch The Sky." Eric,
Bruce, Jeff, Chuck, and Rick "Snoopy" Wartell all looked great and
were ready to splay out yet another slab of doom for those assembled.

The band then blasted into "Fear," both guitarists churning out riffs
that Iommi or Ozzy would give their eyeteeth for. Next up was "Plastic
Green Head" from the album of the same name. "Sinner's Fame" followed
and it was great to hear this gem from the band’s self-titled Def
American release. The banded then shifted into "Memory's Garden." This
is one of the best metal songs ever written, and deserved to get
massive airplay when it was released back in the day.

Trouble's music is not just heavy for the sake of being heavy (like so
many other bands seem to do), but heavy for all the right reasons. It
is as if the songs couldn't have been made any other way than there
were. And so it was that the Trouble faithful got a dose of what is to
come as the band then pulled out two new songs they are working on.
"Goin' Home" and "Weather" were the two new tunes that were debuted,
and they were classic sounding Trouble. "Heaven On My Mind" was next
up followed by "Manic Frustration."

The crowd had fun singing along with the "End Of My Daze," and were
then treated to the ultra heavy "All Is Forgiven." "Psychotic
Reaction" closed the set and as Eric walked off the stage while the
band wailed on the crowd was left stunned and dizzy in their wake.
After a brief time away from the stage the band came back and treated
the locals to Metal Blade-era recordings "Tempter," "The Wickedness Of
Man," and "Revelation."

Not unlike what Billy Corgan did for Cheap Trick with his interest one
can only hope that Foo Fighter Dave Grohl can help shed some light on
the Trouble boys with not only his Probot metal side project, but by
drumming on the next official studio release as reported at
BraveWords.com. The masses deserve to be made aware of Trouble,
especially in an era dominated by the Limp Bizkits of the world. While
they hop around trying to conjure up the energy of a good performance,
Trouble achieves a golden performance night after night with ease.
Even on a stage as tiny as this one Trouble blows many of these bands
away achieving musically what they could never dream of and stomping
them out like the insignificant bugs they are.

Set List:
Touch The Sky
Fear
Plastic Green head
Sinner's Fame
Memory's Garden
Goin' Home
Weather
Heaven On My Mind
Manic Frustration
End Of My Daze
All Is Forgiven
Psychotic Reaction
Tempter
Wickedness Of Man
Revelation
