PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- Heavy Metal superstar Rob Halford -- The Metal God
-- has purchased his ground-breaking, critically acclaimed Halford
catalog from Sanctuary Records UK. The three albums under the band
name: Halford include RESURRECTION (2000), the two-CD concert
recording LIVE INSURRECTION (2001) and CRUCIBLE (2002).

The Halford titles were acquired January 2006, and they will be the
first music releases to possess The Metal God's new corporate imprint:
'Metal God Entertainment' (MGE) an entity which will act as exclusive
production company and label for Rob's future solo music and film
releases. Under new licenses, much of Rob's existing and new titles
will release through global-label partners whom have worked previously
with The Metal God. Additional details available late-summer 2006.

The Roy Z. Produced Halford titles: RESURRECTION (2000) and LIVE
INSURRECTION (2001) have been Re-Mastered. Roy and John Baxter (Rob
Halford's Manager / Executive Producer) recruited Denmark Producer /
Mixer Tue Madsen to Re-Mix and Master one of Rob Halford's finest
releases: CRUCIBLE (2002). Additional details available late-summer
2006.

In 2007, Metal God Entertainment (MGE) will release: "Fight, War Of
Words - The Film." Recorded throughout 1992 and 1993, this 5.1
surround-sound film presents a view of Rob Halford as he makes his
decision to leave Heavy Metal legends Judas Priest, record and tour
with his first solo band: Fight. The band's original audio-

The anticipated Halford studio album HALFORD IV is being rescheduled
as Rob is in studio with Judas Priest collaborating on their 2007

Halford departed Judas Priest in 1992 to pursue a solo career during
which he has released seven albums thus far. He formed an

-Biomechanical Reveal Next Album Title And To Pose In Bikinis For
Charity?

Biomechanical will not only play at this year's Uxfest on Sunday 6th
August 2006, but will also feature in the "Uxfest calendar 2007." The
Uxfest crew have been trying to persuade the band to wear bikinis in
the calendar which will feature many of the bands at Uxfest this year.
Biomechanical have not consented to wear the bikinis themselves but
say that they will be more than happy to pose with beautiful women in
swim wear to raise money for charity. Jon Biomechanical says,
"Although I've been working out I don't think public is ready for me
in Speedo's yet."

Signed to Earache records Biomechanical feature one of the best guitar
duos in the country. The band are gathering their metal force to
unleash their assault on Uxfest with tracks from THE EMPIRES OF THE

Blackmore's Night have recently returned home from an exciting two
weeks overseas in which they performed to audiences in Russia, Prague
and a sold-out crowd in Finland. Late July the group will be headed to
Germany for a dreamlike German castle tour with special guests The
Geyers. "We'll be performing in 12-15th Century castles in Germany
throughout July and August. That is a truly amazing experience. When
you are playing these songs in a courtyard with thousands of people
dressed up in garb singing and dancing to your songs, the moon rising
overhead, surrounded by the stone ramparts and the clock towers
chiming in the distance -- it is like a dream. If you experience this
sight and this incredible connection with the audience and with the
surroundings once in a lifetime, you are very lucky. We do it every
time we play Germany! The unity and camaraderie between the band and
the audience is amazing. It's like carnivale, or a party at our home
with like-minded friends that we haven't yet met."

Asked about touring in the states Night comments, "It's always
wonderful to be playing the US because it's our home. I think that a
lot of people are getting tired of being force fed what to listen to
on corporate run radio stations with no variety. They are looking for
something different, something new. With the help of the PBS special
that we have been featured on which runs throughout all the states
through 2006, a whole new genre of fans have discovered our music.
We're really looking forward to playing here in September and
October."

-State Of Arizone Vs. Blackie Lawless

Blackie Lawless was found Not Guilty by the Scottsdale Arizona Court
in the ongoing assault case against him dating back to August of 2005.
The Judge's decision of "Not Guilty" was handed down today Monday, May
22nd 2006. Pleased with the decision from the Court, Blackie feels
that the Court took into consideration that the artists have a right
to defend themselves in an effort to avoid more of the recent
tragedies that have happened to other performers. He also hopes that
decisions like this will further increase awareness and understanding
by the public that performers can be extremely vulnerable and that
this case will also serve in aiding other performers if and when the
time arises that they are forced to defend themselves in Court cases.
Blackie will also like to thank the many, many fans and associates who
have supported him throughout this trial.

-Rob Zombie & Godsmack Join Forces Beginning August 25th On A US Fall
Tour

Zombie Currently Gearing Up For His Summer Trek "The American Witch
Tour"

HOLLYWOOD -- Rob Zombie is confirmed to join Godsmack for a two month
outing across the US. The North American tour is set to open August
25th in Dallas, TX at the Smirnoff Music Center and will run through
October 1st. As a showman of colossal proportion, Rob Zombie fans
should expect a visual and aural circus of the unexpected on this tour
extravaganza.

Currently Rob Zombie's American Witch Tour is slated to start June
30th in El Paso, TX at the County Coliseum. The single "American
Witch" is the latest release off the EDUCATED HORSES CD (Geffen
Records) and is currently on Billboard's Top 20 Mainstream chart after
only five weeks out. The EDUCATED HORSES CD entered the Billboard Top
200 at #5. Joining Zombie will be metal icons Anthrax.

In other Zombie news, Dimension Films will make a new "Halloween"
movie with Rob Zombie ("The Devil's Rejects," "House Of 1000 Corpses")
writing, directing and serving as a producer. "I have been a huge,
huge fan of John Carpenter's original film since its release,"
explains Zombie. "So when Bob Weinstein approached me about this, I
jumped at the chance to join forces with Dimension Films on this
amazing project." Zombie will also serve as music supervisor on the

-BRUCE DICKINSON ANTHOLOGY Triple Disc DVD Package In Stores June
20th, 2006

Sanctuary Visual Entertainment is proud to announce the triple disc
DVD release of BRUCE DICKINSON ANTHOLOGY on June 20, 2006. This is the
definitive Dickinson package. It includes over six hours of videos and
live performances, and previously unreleased and archive material.
Bruce Dickinson is still the proverbial human whirlwind of activity,
having made his mark both as the front man of the legendary Iron
Maiden and as a longstanding solo artist, with a catalog that includes
six studio albums of his own plus several concert releases. In
addition to his musical talents, Bruce is also well known as a BBC
Radio deejay, TV broadcaster, airline pilot, sword-fencing expert,
novelist, family man and the quintessential voice of heavy music.

Bruce says: "It's fantastic to share all of this collection with my
fans. These DVDs contain rare material that people either won't know
exists or have been unable to buy. The Samson video has changed hands
for absurd amounts of money, and although we spent loads of time and
had and lots and lots of fun making the promos, and because MTV didn't
show them many of won't have been seen. It was high time they were all
available together in one package."

DVD Disc 1 is a live performance extravaganza boasting 30 show-
stopping tracks, recorded during the '90s as Bruce forged ahead with
his solo career. DIVE DIVE LIVE was recorded at the Town And Country
Club, Los Angeles on the Tattooed Millionaire Tour, August 14th 1990.
This was Bruce's first outing as a solo artist with a new band made up
of Janick Gers (Guitar), Andy Carr (Bass) and Dickie Fliszar (Drums).

The second live-in-concert performance offered up on Disc 1 was filmed
over two sweaty back-to-back dates during the Skunkworks Tour in
Pamplona and Gerona, Spain on May 31st and June 1st, 1996. Bruce was
fronting a new young band, with a new name, and was joined on stage by
Alex Dickson (Guitars), Chris Dale (Bass) and a certain infamous
Italian drummer, Alessandro Elena. Originally created for a four track
video EP release in Japan, this is the hour long Skunkworks concert in
full, for the very first time.

DVD Disc 2 keeps the live-in-concert experience alive with rare
footage of Bruce performing in Sao Paulo, 1999 during the Chemical
Wedding World Tour. Almost two hours in length, SCREAM FOR ME BRAZIL
represents Bruce's last outing as a true solo artist before rejoining
the ranks of Maiden shortly afterwards. No official film recording was
permitted although this film taken from the crowd screen feeds
features highlights of the show, which later become a live album of
the same name. With a new heavier lineup made up of long time song
writing partner Roy Z (Guitar), old Maiden partner Adrian Smith and
rhythm section of Dave Ingraham (Drums) and Eddie Casillas (Bass),
this "bootleg" documents Bruce at his most intense.

DVD Disc 3 is an extensive collection of promotional videos made
during Bruce's solo career. From his days at EMI through to his own
self produced videos of recent times, each video is accompanied by a
short introduction by Bruce himself, discussing the ideas, concepts
and eventual filming behind each of the videos. Each intro provides an
interesting insight into Bruce's solo career as it progressed and the
highlights and pitfalls of producing your own promotional videos.

Alongside the 14 promotional videos, Disc 3 also includes over an
hour's worth of extras:

The TYRANNY OF SOULS interview was originally filmed as a general
interview for press purposes. This is a track by track breakdown of
the concept behind the songs on the TYRANNY OF SOULS album, providing
more of an in-depth look at the writing methods that Bruce has formed
with long time writing partner Roy Z.

Samson - BICEPS OF STEEL
Bruce made his video debut fronting Samson in this rather curious
adaptation of the story of Samson and Delilah, filmed at the Rainbow
Theatre, London. Filmed and directed by Julien Temple who perhaps was
more famous for the Sex Pistols movie -- "The Great Rock 'n' Roll
Swindle," this 15 minute featurette was distributed throughout cinemas
as a support feature to Hazel O' Connor's "Breaking Glass" in 1980.

indicated the band is confirmed for some North American shows this
fall. There will be Canadian shows in Montreal and Toronto, as well as
a US festival date in Minneapolis, MN, on October 14. The festival gig

-Last week I briefly mentioned how Ronnie James Dio is seemingly
everywhere right now, and listed a few of his DVDs and CDs plus the
VH1 special "Heavy: The Story Of Metal" and the documentary "Metal: A
Headbanger's Journey." About two seconds after that issue went out, my
helpful friend Bill "Tim, You're A Dumbass!" Kotowski informed me I
neglected to mention Ronnie's guest appearance on Queensryche's
OPERATION: MINDCRIME II and Rainbow's entry in VH1's recent "40
Greatest Metal Songs" special. Thanks Bill, you're always there for
me. :)
