Pink Floyd's PULSE -- a landmark DVD collection documenting the 1994
DIVISION BELL tour including the band's first-ever filmed performance
of THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON -- is the #1 music DVD on both sides of
the Atlantic topping the charts in Austria, Belgium, Holland, Ireland,
Italy, Norway, the UK and the United States, where it's just debuted
with first week's sales of 92,815 according to SoundScan.

PULSE has one of the Top 3 best first week's sales in the United
States of any music DVD in history.

Released stateside on Tuesday, July 11, this landmark release features
the first ever film of Pink Floyd playing the band's seminal album,
THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, live in concert. The PULSE DVD set
documents the 1994 DIVISION BELL tour and was filmed at London's Earls
Court during a record-breaking 14-night residency. The two-disc
release contains the full concert performance with rare backstage
footage and previously unseen extras making the collection a must-have
for Pink Floyd fans.

Disc 2 of the PULSE DVD set features a live filmed performance of Pink
Floyd -- David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Rick Wright -- performing the
group's towering masterpiece, THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, in its
glorious entirety during the second half of the DIVISION BELL concert.
Included on disc 1 are "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," "Another Brick In
The Wall (Part 2)," "High Hopes" and "Learning To Fly" as well as
never-before-seen rarities such as "Bootlegging The Bootleggers" and
exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of life on the road with one of
the world's biggest and most influential rock bands.

Long time Pink Floyd collaborator Storm Thorgerson has designed the
stunning graphics for the PULSE DVD, ensuring that the set looks as
good as it sounds. Mixed in mind-expanding 5.1 surround sound and
digitally re-mastered by James Guthrie, the PULSE DVD includes some of
original screen films used for the 1970s concert performances of THE
DARK SIDE OF THE MOON (which were never filmed) as well as the visual
components for the piece which were remade for the 1994 tour.

The PULSE DVD captures vividly the essence of Pink Floyd, both as a
live band and as a visual tour de force, qualities that served them,
and their fans, well during the group's show-stopping reunion
performance at last year's Live 8.

THE LOWDOWN ON Z ROCK 06 SEPTEMBER 24TH

schedules for Z Rock 06. We decided from the outset that Toby Jepson,
TNT and FireHouse should perform full live sets -- this is reflected
in the set lengths allocated. In addition TNT and FireHouse are making
exclusive UK appearances. TNT's appearance will include Tony Mills'
first UK date with the band and from the reports coming out of Norway
you will not be disappointed. FireHouse have a free reign -- they can
play for three hours if they wish [hey you never know!]. The special
signing sessions which have become the Z Rock fest trademark since
1999 are currently being set up and further news will be posted soon.

-Vixen: European Tour Dates Rearranged

Vixen regret to announce that following the cancellation of the
Ragnarock Festival in Norway, they will be unable to undertake all the
European tour dates previously announced.

The promoters at Ragnarock have announced that they are unable to meet
their financial commitments, due to problems with their investors,
which means that shows booked around this appearance have become
financially unviable. However, rather than pull out of the proposed
tour completely, Vixen will still be appearing at the Rock & Blues
Festival in the UK, and The Rock of Ages Festival in Germany. They
will also be performing shows in the UK, linking up with House Of
Lords. Unfortunately, the other European dates will have to be
postponed until later in the year.

-Warrant Record Release Party; New Release BORN AGAIN On Cleopatra
Records In Stores Now

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- Every show-date in 2006 is a record release party for
'80s metal legends, Warrant. Come join "The Down Boys" as they
celebrate their first album in almost 10 years. "To me this album
picks up where CHERRY PIE fell in the lap of that girl that just got
off the bus in L.A.," explains Jerry Dixon, bassist and founding
member. "It even has guitar solos (remember those?). No drum machines,
no rock rap, no samples just drums, bass, guitars and vocals. It's old
school Warrant at its finest."

Warrant's new release BORN AGAIN [Cleopatra Records], which was
produced by famed producer Pat Regan (Kiss, Deep Purple, Mr. Big).
This is Warrant's first new material since 1997 and they are currently
performing summer shows in support of the new CD. The first single
"Bourbon County Line" is gaining airplay across the states. "We wanted
to make a record in the true Warrant fashion," states Erik Turner,
founding member and guitarist. "I think we accomplished that sound
again. It sounds like what a Warrant record should sound like."

The band's four founding members, Erik Turner (guitar), Jerry Dixon
(bass), Joey Allen (lead guitar) and Steven Sweet (drummer) are
together for the first time in over a decade. Joining the band is
Jaime St. James, formerly of Black N' Blue produced by Gene Simmons
[Kiss]. The reformation of these metal heroes has been overwhelmingly
positive giving the band inspiration to write new material for the
fans.

The Return Of The Slim

No, it's not the title of the new album, nor is it a new Lord Of The
Rings installment...it's good news for all.

Yep, Dave Boylan has come home and he's very happy to be back! In
fairness it probably wouldn't have been right to do the album without
him as his input into the material has been substantial both on the
music and lyric side of things. We're very happy to have him back to
as it really wouldn't have been the same without his presence on the
album. Naturally he's settled right back in and is already brimming
with ideas. He also hopes to be back online shortly. So welcome home
Slim!

We are also hoping to announce the name of the singer who will be
gracing GUARDIAN OF ETERNITY very very soon. We have a definite person
in mind and he is busy learning some of the new material as I write.
However I don't want to make any official announcement until the
details have been worked out and everyone is happy. But I hope to be
able to deliver good news before very long.

Tarawatch Album

Celtic Legacy are to contribute "Children Of The Sky" to a new album.
Entitled TARA OF THE KINGS, the album will showcase only Irish talent
and will raise awareness of the campaign to save Tara and the
surrounding region from development. The album is expected to be
released sometime in early Autumn. You can get more details on this
album and the campaign at http://tarawatch.org/?cat=17 .

Legacy have recorded a brand new version of the track specifically for
this album, however it is unclear whether we will have a singer in
place in time to use it. Providing everything works out this brand new
version will be heard for the first time on the TARA OF THE KINGS
album. There is also a chance that we may not make the deadline and in
that event the classic RESURRECTION version will be presented instead.
Ideally we would of course prefer to use the new version as we feel
that this version is far superior to the original and would also be
the first glimpse of the new Legacy line-up and album production
sound.

We'll keep you posted.

Celtic Legacy on MySpace

It's about time but we finally got there. There is now a Celtic Legacy
page up on MySpace and already we're attracting a lot of new friends.
We've even had an offer from a vocalist from England, such is the
scope that this site allows for communication. The networking
possibilities are endless and this will be agreat help in the months
to come. MySpace has a more far reaching potential as we have
discovered. We'll use the page to post some album previews closer to
release time. At present there are two RESURRECTION tracks there which
can be played in their entirety.

Because the time pressures have meant that that regular updates on
this site have been impossible, MySpace offers a quick and easy
alternative and you will be able to find all the up to the minute
album news there from now on. That doesn't mean that we'll be
abandoning this site. This site remains the official Legacy home, and
central point of information, but finding the hours to work on it
regularly are becoming more difficult and so it's nice to have an
alternative. Of course if anyone would like to volunteer to take over
the running of the site we'll certainly listen.

Toronto rock quartet to gig with Alice Cooper and Poison, perform at
Sturgis

With the group's new album, the Gilby Clarke-produced ELECTRIC
SATISFACTION, in stores tomorrow (July 25), Canadian rockers Crash
Kelly have scheduled a series of concerts that will take them across
America over the next three weeks and see them perform alongside some
of the biggest names in rock.

First, the group will drive from Toronto to Buffalo, NY, to do an in-
store signing and acoustic performance at the Walden Galleria Mall FYE
as a precursor to a gig at Desiderios that night. Three nights later,
the group will triumphantly return to their hometown Molson
Amphitheatre -- where they performed alongside Motley Crue last summer
-- to play with glam icons Poison and Cinderella.

From there, the band will head to the Buffalo Chip Campground in
Sturgis, SD on Aug. 5 to play the legendary Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
alongside Alice Cooper. Both bands will then head to Billings, Mont.
the following night. Crash Kelly recently supported Cooper during a
cross-Canadian tour and covered his classic "Cold Ethyl" on ELECTRIC
SATISFACTION, and the band looks forward to playing with the Shock
Rock legend once again.

"Playing with Alice Cooper was the culmination of many teenage
fantasies, and it really felt like the beginning of the next phase for
Crash Kelly," guitarist Sean Kelly says. "The songs I write are
designed to capture the feeling of the best of the '70s arena rock
giants, and to actually share the stage with one of those giants was
an immense pleasure and privilege. We can't wait to do it all over
again!"

From Billings, the band will fly to Southern California, where they're
scheduled to play a series of shows -- two on the legendary Sunset
Strip, and another in nearby Orange County as part of the prestigious
International Pop Overthrow festival.

-New American Heartbreak Album To Receive Japanese Release This Week;
Fall Tour Planned

The critically acclaimed, self-titled sophomore album by Bay Area
rockers American Heartbreak -- who feature in their ranks former
Exodus bassist Michael Butler and Jetboy guitarist Billy Rowe -- will
receive a Japanese release on Wednesday (July 26) through Big M.F./B-
Gram Records.

"We're very excited about the album's release in Japan, for we've had
some very loyal friends and fans over there for years who have been
waiting patiently for this new release," Rowe says.

Later this year, American Heartbreak will travel to Japan for their
first-ever concerts in the Land of the Rising Sun. "We've toured

-DeadStar Assembly Release "Killing Myself Again" Video, Prep Tour

Florida theatrical/industrial metallists DeadStar Assembly have
recently shot a lead off video, "Killing Myself Again," from their
just-released sophomore full-length, UNSAVED. Comprised of members
Dearborn (vocals), the Dro (bass), Cygnus (drums), DreGGs (guitar) and
new member sKuz (who replaces Mubo on keyboards), the video proves to
be the group's most over-the-top yet, according to Dearborn -- thanks
to producer Rey "Darkhak" Gutierrez.

"We showed up to the set with meal worms, giant African millipedes,
Jager, a bag of blood we got from an animal clinic, Tasers, violet
wands, ball gags, etc. We knew this wasn't a concept video, so we did
things more for an aesthetic appeal. The color, the grain, the antics
and props were all real and we just had fun and experimented with
them. Rey had no idea what we were going to show up with, he thought
it was just five guys in make-up with our instruments, next thing you
know we are smashing his fluorescent lights and eating live worms and
doing shots of Jager. It was by far the easiest and most exciting
video the band has done to date."

Dearborn also issues a warning for the faint of heart while watching
the clip. "The video is cut pretty aggressively and may give one
seizures, that was the point. Artistically we got to really express
ourselves, Dro eating live worms off of the girls thighs and stomach
was rather disturbing yet quite memorable."

Pleased with the end result, Dearborn offers praise for the director.
"We feel it is our best video to date and it has been very well
received by our fans! We loved making it and working once again with
Darkhak. He has got to be one of the most talented directors and
editors we have had the pleasure to work with. A total pro and
artist."

One other unique dynamic of this extreme metal band is their female
lead guitarist Laura Christine. The extreme metal genre has yet to see
a female out front handling all rhythm and lead guitar duties single

Don't get Frost* confused with Jack Frost of Seven Witches, Savatage,
Metalium and many other projects, as he is not involved in this and
the music on MILLIONTOWN has very little to do with heavy metal, being
a real study in modern progressive rock. Frost* is actually the
brainchild of producer Jem Godfrey and features members of Kino, Arena
and IQ. MILLIONTOWN starts off powerfully with "Hyperventilate," a
stunning album opener featuring exceptional keyboard virtuosity and
compositional skill; on next song "No Me No You," the vocals and
rhythms begin taking us in a more modern direction, still progressive
but with an ear for current pop inclinations. "Snowman" is a little
too mellow for my tastes and then we get an industrial-flavored piece
called "The Other Me" with interesting instrumental passages but
somewhat standard vocal melodies. The title track finishes things off
nicely, at 26 minutes a bit long but dynamic and well arranged with an
impressive variety of elements included. I'm sure Frost* will appeal
more to the new generation of neo-prog fans, but if you are looking
for something that deviates from the norm without entirely abandoning
the classic prog format, you might just want to give MILLIONTOWN a

Where do they all come from? Well, Daniel Palmqvist hails from Sweden
and is the latest in a long line of Lion shredders ready to unleash
quality instrumental fretburning on the world. A LANDSCAPE MADE FROM
DREAMS is Daniel's debut release and showcases his ear for melodic
compositions and smooth virtuosic capability. "Devil's Dance" is a
good representation of what Daniel is all about, with a hypnotic
groove providing a sonic landscape over which he improvises and
embellishes impressively; on songs like "Moment Of Clarity" and
"Riddle Me This," Daniel opts for a relaxed, emotional approach but is
still able to work amazing shred techniques into the flowing
arrangements. Daniel doesn't keep it all serene though, enlivening the
proceedings with rockers like "Carte Blanche, "Truffle Shuffle" and
"Song For Pongo." I guess stylistically A LANDSCAPE MADE FROM DREAMS
is most similar to TIME ODYSSEY-era Vinnie Moore combined with
instrumental Eric Johnson; produced by Daniel Flores (Mind's Eye), the
album has a great sound and the pieces are sequenced well. If you are
a fan of instrumental guitar albums, I can confidently recommend A
LANDSCAPE MADE FROM DREAMS, and with a debut this strong I'm
interested to hear what this talented musician does next... - Neal

VOICES IN MY HEAD is a re-release of Riverside's 2005 EP and it's a
bit different than last year's SECOND LIFE SYNDROME in that this is a
very mellow affair, the band opting to concentrate on lush
arrangements, hypnotic soundscapes and melancholy vocals, with a de-
emphasis on complexity and bombast. Riverside are at their best on
atmospheric songs like "Acronym Love" and the dreamy "Stuck Between,"
the compositions bringing to mind British prog and synth-pop bands
such as Marillion and Depeche Mode. Also included are three live
tracks (originally from debut album OUT OF MYSELF), and a multimedia
section including a video of "Acronym Love" plus photos and a
discography with lyrics. As I said, a mostly relaxed vibe on this one
but quite well done, and overall a very nice package for Riverside
