-Heaven & Hell Take The Devil On The Road

Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice Schedule
North American Tour Dates For August

Coheed And Cambria To Be Featured As Support For Month Long Trek

Tickets For Most Dates On Sale The Weekend Of May 8

LOS ANGELES -- Heaven & Hell, the quartet of Ronnie James Dio, Tony
Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Vinny Appice, will bring their wicked world
tour to North America for a select number of shows this August. The
band will start their summer headlining music festivals across Europe
before bringing their macabre stage show of metal classics to North
America starting on August 7 in Vancouver. Tickets for most shows go
on sale the weekend of May 8. There will also be a presale for all
shows, except Baltimore, beginning May 6 at 10 a.m. local time. Coheed
And Cambria will provide support on all shows except the Seattle date
on August 8, which will feature Neurosis in the supporting slot.

On April 28, Heaven & Hell released their first album in 17 years, THE
DEVIL YOU KNOW, and the highly anticipated set did not disappoint.
Revolver Magazine declared it "an album of ageless metal anthems" and
The Associated Press praised its "bone-crunching riffs and power
chords that can loosen the phlegm in your chest." The band plans to
mix in several tracks from THE DEVIL YOU KNOW into their set of Dio-
era Black Sabbath classics.

Heaven & Hell began writing for THE DEVIL YOU KNOW last year, first in
England at Iommi's home studio and later in Los Angeles at Dio's
studio. "The band had gotten too good to just walk away," Dio says.
"We wanted to show people that we were still capable of giving them
new music that measured up to what we'd done in the past." With that
goal in mind, the band hit the Rockfield Studios in Wales last winter
and the result is the 10-song epic THE DEVIL YOU KNOW.

Coheed And Cambria bring their unique blend of prog and metal as the
supporting act on the tour. The band just released their NEVERENDER
box set. The 4-CD/5-DVD collection chronicles a series of 2008 shows
where the band performed all four of their albums in the same city on
consecutive nights.

-Jimi Jamison Hits His CROSSROADS MOMENT On New Frontiers Release

TRENTON, N.J. -- Jimi Jamison's CROSSROADS MOMENT reunites Survivor
vocalist with his former band mate, songwriter and keyboardist Jim
Peterik, for his strongest, most compelling record in his two-decade
career.

With Peterik's songwriting assistance, the two have crafted an album
that allows Jamison's silky voice to shine.

"Jim brings out the best in my voice with his song writing," Jamison
said. "Since our time in Survivor, he's just had the ability to bring
out the best of what I have to offer vocally."

The reunion happened by chance, when the two were both booked to play
a charity show. After five years without communication, the duo
decided to give it a ago and performed "The Search Is Over" with just
Jamison on vocals and Peterik on keys. The magic was still there and
it was clear they would be collaborating in the future.

CROSSROADS MOMENT is an indirect concept album -- one that didn't
start out that way but developed into a cohesive theme. "Throughout
recording, each song began to make sense with the previous song until
they each became like a piece of a puzzle that just fit together
perfectly," Jamison said. "It was strange that it worked out that way
but I'm glad it did. It's great when you start a project from scratch
and it just turns out the way you felt all along."

The title comes from the track "Crossroads Moment." "This song means
so much to me because this is exactly the point of life I was at when
Jim first played it for me," Jamison said. "I was really at a
crossroads between my past and all the options of my future. Recording
this album helped me find myself and take all the right turns."

In addition to Peterik, longtime friends and acclaimed singers Thom
Griffin, Don Barnes, Mike Reno, Mickey Thomas, Dave Bickler, and Joe
Lynn Turner all lent their talents to backing vocals "Crossroads
Moment."

Noted as one of the Top Ten Male Vocalists in the World, Jamison's
strong and powerful performances began with the nationally acclaimed
band Target in the 1970s, followed by a rise to stardom with Cobra
through the early 1980s. In 1983, he joined Survivor ant the group
went to go on to enjoy five singles in the Top Ten -- including "High
On You," "The Search Is Over," and "I Can't Hold Back" -- four gold,
and double platinum albums and multiple movie soundtracks. He later
wrote and performed "I'm Always Here" for the television show
"Baywatch."

From humble beginnings in rural Mississippi to established star in
Memphis, Jamison has never forgotten his roots and continues to be
dedicated to charity work such as St. Jude Children's Hospital, Ronald
McDonald House, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Dove House for Abused
Children, WTC Relief, Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish Foundation, The
Cancer Society, Fergie's Hep C Benefits, George Klein's famous annual
Christmas Charity Show and Auction, The Children's Diabetes
Foundation, The Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon, the ARF
Foundation (headed by Tony LaRussa of the St. Louis Cardinals), and
the Toys for Tots programs nationwide. He has been recognized by the
Governors of Tennessee, Ohio, and Arkansas for his work on and off the
stage.

CROSSROADS MOMENT is now available in America on Frontiers Records.

Frontiers Records is synonymous with quality melodic music in the
rock, progressive, and metal genres. With over 400 records under its
belt and chart success in all the core markets of Europe and Asia,
Frontiers has become the European home of rock music greats such as
Journey, Styx, Toto, Night Ranger, Winger, Dokken, White Lion, and
many more. With the strategic move to open a U.S. office and ink a
direct distribution deal with Super D, Frontiers is now looking to
increase the success story that started 12 years ago in a small room
in Naples, Italy, under the initiative of the label's President
Serafino Perugino.

Jamison has several life dates lined up for the summer.

crossroads between rock and progressive metal. Music that alternates

while effortlessly transcending barriers between different styles and
genres. Following its impressive predecessors, OFFICE OF STRATEGIC
INFLUENCE (2003) and FREE (2006), BLOOD is the third release by Kevin
Moore and Jim Matheos. OSI unites two exceptional composers who share
their penchant for the unusual and are on the same artistic

understanding," Moore enthuses.

-Kansas Vets Launch Native Window -- Debut Album, "Rockline"
Appearance, And Summer Tour To Soon Follow

Longtime Kansas fans may have a hard time dealing with the fact that
the group's two main songwriters, Steve Walsh (singer/keyboards/
synths) and Kerry Livgren (guitar/ keyboards/synths) have stated that
they are done writing any more album worth's of new material for the
group. But it's time to rejoice, as Native Window -- which is
essentially Kansas minus Walsh -- will certainly help fill this void,
with a self-titled debut, issued June 23rd via StarCity Records (run
by Jeff Glixman, who produced some of Kansas best-selling releases).

"It was a bit presumptuous of us to assume we could write a whole CD
of music, considering we did not have song one when we started,"
explains Kansas/Native Window drummer, Phil Ehart. "We wrote songs
ourselves, collaborated with other writers, and even found some
outside songs."

"Without Steve singing, without keyboards, it is fundamentally
different from Kansas right out of the box," adds guitarist Richard
Williams. "A conscious effort was made to not sound like, write like,
or emulate anything Kansas would do. Kansas already does that just
fine."

Produced by Steve Rawls and Native Window, and recorded at Real 2 Reel
Studios over a two-year span, the "new" group (which is comprised of
Ehart and Williams, plus singer/bassist Billy Greer, and violinist
David Ragsdale) has picked up where Kansas left off musically,
especially after judging from the melodic rock anthems heard
throughout the disc. And all this happened despite the band members
being entirely uncertain what the material would ultimately sound
like. "That was the exciting part...we had no idea what it would sound
like! We had one criteria -- the song had to sound good acoustically.
If it sounded good with just acoustic guitar and vocals, then we
developed it from there."

Questions also arose regarding the group's vocal and lyrical makeup,
but once again, everything fell nicely into place. "We could all carry
a tune and sing in pitch, but could we actually sound good together?
It took some work to get over the hump of singing harmonies, but once
we did, you couldn't shut us up! The lyrics were a total group effort.
Someone would have a title, a one liner, a chorus, and the lyrics just
sprung from there. Sometimes Billy would have a bunch of lyrical
ideas, and we'd brainstorm from there."

When asked to pick a favorite track of the album, Ragsdale ran into
some difficulty limiting it to just one. "All of them, and why not?
Seriously, though, I really like the mood of 'Miss Me,' and how it
develops and returns. 'Blood In The Water' makes me grin a bit as
well." Greer offered his own praise about the project, as well. "The
writing and recording process on this project was more rewarding and
fun than any I have been involved in a very long time. Vocally, this
was one of the most challenging and rewarding CDs I have ever
recorded!"

The day after NATIVE WINDOW arrives, the group will be appearing on
the renowned nationally syndicated radio show, "Rockline" -- on
Wednesday, June 24th -- followed by a summer's worth of tour dates,
opening up for...Kansas! And for those who wonder how the launching of
Native Window sits with the only missing member of Kansas, Ehart is
willing to put any speculation to rest. "Steve has been very
supportive of Native Window since its inception. He has wished us the
best since day one."

Confirmed Native Window tour dates:

Jun 13 2009 - 8:00P - Landreth Park - Joplin, Missouri
Jul 24 2009 - 8:00P - Fair - Merced, California
Aug 23 2009 - 8:00P - Mayo Civic Center - Rochester, Minnesota

Z Rock 09: The Full Monty Rundown

The rundown for Z Rock 09
- by Rob Evans [Powerplay Magazine]

Here's a rundown of this year's Z Rock weekend that takes place in
Dudley on the 29th and 30th of May. I have to say that this weekend is
probably the best that Mark has ever assembled. To stay away from this
event would be foolish. The fact that Wig Wam and John Waite are
headliners should be more than enough to convince anyone to attend.
Chuck in the fact that the cream of British AOR is also in attendance
then you have a sure-fire winner. I personally will look forward to
seeing the likes of Wig Wam, Stampede, John Waite, Lec Zorn, Newman,
Dan Reed and Eden. I salute you Mr. Alger and can't wait until the
show. Until then here's the rundown for each day.

RUNNING ORDER FOR MAY 29TH

We are proud to unveil the running order for this year's main day, the
event will run as follows:

Friday MAY 29th: Venue: JB's, Dudley [food will be available inside
the venue]

Doors 6 p.m.

06:45 - 07:25 - ANGELHOUSE. An unknown quantity as far as I'm
concerned but that doesn't mean that they'll be no good, no sir! If
TSM and Mr. Alger believe in them then that's good enough for me.

07:45 - 08:25 - REDLINE. Saw these at last year's Z Rock In Birmingham
and came away impressed. Their Judas Priest meets Marshall Law style
of metal should go down well.

08:45 - 09:40 - STAMPEDE. Some would cruelly say that this is the only
time you'll see a stampede at a Z Rock, but not me, oh no! Seriously,
I am so looking forward to seeing this band for the first time. With
both of their albums having been reissued in the last few years the
time is right for the Stampede revival.

10:00 - 10:55 - STEVE GRIMMETT. Mr Grimmett never fails to impress me
every time I see him perform. He's sure to play a good selection of
solo material as well as a few Grim Reaper tracks as well. See you in
hell, my friends.

11:15 - 01:00 - WIG WAM. Wig Wam! What is there to say about this
phenomenal band that hasn't already been said? I'll just add they they
are one of the most exciting bands to emerge on the Hard Rock scene in
the last few years. The last couple of times I saw them they blew me
away and I expect nothing less from them this time.

Tickets are still available online at http://www.myspace.com/zrockfest

RUNNING ORDER FOR MAY 30TH

We are proud to unveil the running order for this year's main day, the
event will run as follows:

Saturday MAY 30th: Venue: JB's, Dudley [food will be available inside
the venue]

Doors 12:30

01:00 - 01:45 - CORNERSTONE. Another TSM artist and one that has been
gathering plenty of good press over the last few months thanks to a
strong debut album. A good opening to the days proceedings.

02:05 - 02:55 - LEC ZORN PROJECT. If Lec Zorn is half as good live as
his album then he'll blow people away with his brand of pomp rock. The
big question is will he be bringing Tracy White (Shotgun Symphony) as
his vocalist? Let's bloody hope so.

03:15 - 04:05 - H.A.R.D. Hungarian hard rock at its finest and another
great addition to the festival.

04:25 - 05:25 - NEWMAN. Steve Newman has a lot to prove with this
show. It's his first live outing for a few years and with the right
song selection it could be his best ever. Here's hoping.

05:45 - 06:45 - EDEN. Another solid British band who have delivered on
both of their albums. Their live show sees them take their songs to
another level. I gaurantee that they will surprise many on this day.

07:00 - 08:00 - DAN REED. Dan Reed will be performing an acoustic show
that will comprise of old Network songs and newer Dan reed material.
With him getting rave reviews of his British tour of last year he will
definitely be one to watch.

08:20 - 9:20 - VON GROOVE. Von Groove gave me one of my best ever
concert experiences when they played at Z Rock the first time many
moons ago. I'm hoping that they repeat that experience with this show.
They have the songs and the capability. Let's hope they put the two
together and blow us away.

09:40 - 10:50 - TED POLEY. If Bob Catley is the U.K.'s peoples' front
man then Ted would have to be his U.S. equivalent. I have no doubt
that Ted and Vic will give 1000% and make this a show to remember.
Sure to be one of the highlights of the whole weekend.

11:10 - 00:45 - JOHN WAITE. This, my friends, will be awesome and then
some. John Waite in the U.K. for the first time since the Eighties.
With such a rich back catalogue to choose from, John Waite has the
potential to be absolutely mind-blowing. I personally would love to
see plenty of Bad Englsih songs, a sprinkling of Babys and a liberal
amount of solo material. Please!

Tickets are still available online at http://www.myspace.com/zrockfest
or by PayPal via zonlinesales@... for £47.50 + £1 recorded

SLOUGH FEG

With a 20-year long career and seven full-length albums, Slough Feg
are a reference for metal fans around the world. As with many
underrated American bands, the band had to first build their
reputation in Europe to be appreciated stateside. Today the band's
name lies among other top contemporary metal bands; incorporating a
healthy dose of NWOBHM and love for classic metal with their own
unique attributes, the band have infected and engrossed the minds of
thousands of fans in recent years, due in part to touring U.S. with
The Sword in 2008 and having over 150,000 plays on their MySpace page.

APE UPRISING marks another step ahead in the band's colorful history,
bringing forth another dose of trademark Slough Feg metal, invoking
tragic, emotional, passionate and yet ironic views on life. Around the
figure of founding member Mike Scalzi (vocals/guitar), moves a
versatile and talented lineup (bassist Adrian Maestas, "Don" Angelo
Tringali on guitar and new drummer Harry Cantwell) whose chemistry
reaches the highest levels yet on APE UPRISING, delivering what can be
considered the heaviest Slough Feg release ever!

CRESCENT SHIELD

California's traditional melodic metal band Crescent Shield and label
Cruz Del Sur Music are now streaming the entire new album THE STARS OF
NEVER SEEN. Stop by the band's site or Cruz Del Sur's site to check

End guitarist Dan DeLucie and former Onward vocalist Michael Grant,
drummer Craig Anderson (Ignite, Engine) and bassist Melanie Sisneros
(ex-New Eden, The Iron Maidens, Sinergy).

Crescent Shield enlisted the talents of legendary metal producer/
engineer Bill Metoyer to co-engineer, co-mix, and master the new album
and the artwork for the CD was again created by comic book artist
Gerry Alanguilan. THE STARS OF NEVER SEEN will be released by Cruz Del

ENSOPH

Since 1997 Italian act Ensoph has forged an extremely artistic path
with their genre-blending concoction of extreme metal, gothic,
progressive and electro-industrial styles with a unique and
immediately recognizable weird experimental taste. Their aesthetic
research has its roots in the attempt to read and interpret the modern
inquietude for an unthinking future with suggestions coming from
esotericism, philosophy, apocryphal literature and tragical theology.
The result is a perfect soundtrack for the nowadays (yet ancient)
neurotic, insatiable, desperate hunger for apocalypse, as showcased on
their their fourth studio full-length REX MUNDI X-ILE.

After many successful live shows and festivals alongside bands like
Katatonia, Deathstars, Novembre, Arcturus, Dope Stars Inc. Kirlian
Camera, Theatres Des Vampires and more over the years the band hope to
infect North American audiences more than ever on the new album, and
eventually bring their madness stateside. REX MUNDI X-ILE is a
talented and versatile album that will please fans of gothic,
industrial, extreme and progressive music (and features a cover of
Alice In Chains' classic "Would?").

CROWN THE LOST

Almost three years removed from their debut album REVERENCE DIES
WITHIN, melodic thrash metallers Crown The Lost return with their
second full-length, BLIND FAITH LOYALTY. The culmination of over a
year's worth of intense songwriting, band turnover and turmoil, and
unbridled creativity, BLIND FAITH LOYALTY sees CTL expand upon its
melodic thrash metal template, adding new, exotic layers of extremity,
grace, and technicality. BLIND FAITH LOYALTY hits stores on May 5th in
North America. The band has a CD release show and other local
performances planned for the coming weeks, and much more in the works
for the rest of 2009.

HADES

New Jersey's Hades came to the thrash metal scene in 1987 with the
release of RESISTING SUCCESS. After receiving glowing reviews in all
the major metal magazines they followed up a year later with the album
IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED. In the U.S. Hades performed countless
shows opening for bands that included Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax,
Nuclear Assault, Manowar, Overkill and Danzig, and during the summer
of 1989 they toured Europe for the first time. In the middle of the
tour they decided to break up after the tour was over. Alan Tecchio
moved to Texas to join WatchTower. Dan Lorenzo started a doom band
that he named Non-Fiction. Alan eventually rejoined up with Dan in
Non-Fiction; they released three albums and toured the world. In 1999
Hades got back together. Over the next three years the band recorded
three new albums for Metal Blade Records. They put in a strong
performance at the Wacken Festival in 2000. Then, just as quickly,
they were gone once again.

Never got to see Hades live? The BOOTLEGGED IN BOSTON 1988 DVD is your
chance! Watch as the band opened for Manowar and Nuclear Assault on
December 30th, 1988. The DVD includes interviews with Dan Lorenzo,
Alan Tecchio, Jimmy Schulman, Ed Fuhrman and Scott LePage, tons of old
video clips, live footage, TV appearances and more. BOOTLEGGED IN
BOSTON 1988 hits the streets in North America on May 5th.

-New Celtic Legacy Album: Writing In Progress

[Note: This is from the band's mailing list. - Steve]

Greetings!

We're very happy to report that the band has begun writing new
material which will end up on a new album to be entitled THIRTEEN
WINTERS.

We're still in the very early stages of writing so we have no
timeframe for recording scheduled as yet. But we're hoping to have all
writing completed by the end of the year with a view to recording and
releasing the new album in the first half of 2010.

So far the indications are that the next tracks will be something of a
return to the epic direction of the band's RESURRECTION album. It's
sounding good so far.

If you want to keep up to date with the very latest album information,
regular updates will appear on the band's forum over the next few
weeks and months. You can get there via the band's main Web site
http://www.celtic-legacy.com/ .

Also on the site are new YouTube videos and pics from the band's
recent live shows.

Legacy is also looking for a booking agent/tour manager to take charge
of gigs for 2010. We're trying to get things organised very early to
fill up our calendar for next year. If you know someone who fits the
bill, please get them to contact us so we can discuss where to go
next.

As always, you can hear clips of the band's music on the Facebook and
MySpace pages. The links are below.

All the best and keep the faith,
Dave

-Leap Dog Music And danaCreative Launch The "Lives" Project

Leap Dog Music and danaCreative are proud to announce The "Lives"
Project. "Lives" is a two-year project that will consist of four
E.P.s, four books, four graphic novels, and an extensive online
presence for the project as well as the lead characters.

The brainchild of musician John Taglieri, "Lives" was born of a series
of songs written in early 2009. Taglieri and his co-writer Brad
Whitley, in the midst of writing what was to be the second in a string
of E.P.s, realized that they had a storyline in their latest round of
compositions. Taglieri took the storyline idea and mushroomed it.
Contacting storywriter Gil Gonzalez, they formulated the E.P./book
combination, with each track correlating with each chapter of the book
released with it. Taglieri then contacted long time friend and graphic
designer Tony Marchesani, and brought him into the project to handle
the graphic novel side.

Chronicling the lives of fictional characters Cate Alston and Max
Knight, "Lives" will follow them from their introduction and meeting
onto a two-year journey of life and all of the ups and downs related
to it. Self-professed rejects, Max and Cate were always unlucky, both
in life and love. Stumbling into each others lives starts a journey of
discovery, and honest soul searching that takes them across the
country.

The project will consist of four six-song E.P.s, books and graphic
novels, as well as MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and blogger accounts
for the two main characters. The characters are going to build their
own friend and fan bases online to carry them through the project.

The project will release its first installment on June 2nd, 2009, with
subsequent releases in October '09, April '10, and October '10. The
project will have its home on the Web at
http://www.TheLivesProject.com/ .

CDs and books will be available at various retail outlets. Various
live shows as well as an in-store book tour are going to be planned to
support the releases.

-Nigel Dupree Band Offer Good Old Fashioned "Rock And Roll" On Debut
Single/Forthcoming Album Due May 26th, 2009 On Mighty Loud!

Hailing from Kennesaw, Georgia and comprised of members Nigel Dupree
(vocals, guitar), Josh Hilton (bass), and Adam Townsend (drums), the
Nigel Dupree Band manages to be a throwback of sorts -- musically and
visually -- to such renowned goliaths as Kiss, Def Leppard, AC/DC, and
Bon Jovi. And the proof is in the trio's debut single, "Rock And
Roll," and forthcoming full-length debut, ATTRACTION, both of which
offer a healthy helping of raw high-energy rock and roll.

"We're definitely going against the grain," explains Dupree. "We're
throwing back to the '80s a little bit, and mixing in our own thing.
We have a modern sound and we're not indulging ourselves as much as
some bands with the stereotypical ''80s image.' It's just where we
find our influence, and that's what we like to stick with."

The son of Jackyl's Jesse James Dupree, Nigel and his band mates keep
it straight-ahead throughout ATTRACTION. "It just comes from wanting
to hear good simplicity in a rock song. So many bands today just
overthink what rock n' roll is. We're setting out to remind people
that rock n' roll is about having fun and playing some good music."

With a full tour being booked in support of ATTRACTION, fans can
expect to witness a pure rock n' roll spectacle when the Nigel Dupree
Band hits the stage. "No matter where we're playing, in our minds,
we're playing to a sold out Madison Square Garden, because that's what
we want the people watching it to receive. That's what we base the
band on -- we put on a great live show, high energy." And Nigel
especially is looking forward to what the future has in store for the
band. "Success comes with happiness -- success and happiness to me is
people enjoying what they do and create artistically. If people are
into it and love what we do that is success to me. And that's exactly
where I want to take it." As evidenced by ATTRACTION, the Nigel Dupree
Band has certainly taken a mighty loud n' proud first step.

The confirmed track listing for ATTRACTION is:

Late Night Girl
Rock And Roll
Sexy Little Thing
Shake It Hot
Love Machine
Darkness Of The Night
Have You Ever
Screaming
Too Hot To Handle
Top That Killer

-Riverside - ANNO DOMINI HIGH DEFINITION

New studio album ANNO DOMINI HIGH DEFINITION by Riverside will be
released on June 22nd (Europe) and July 14th (North America).

ANNO DOMINI HIGH DEFINITION, Riverside's fourth album, is no concept
album in the classic sense, although it features a central theme and a
haunting message. "It's an album about people who know they need to
speed up or they'll get left behind," Duda summarizes the tracks,
adding: "About people who sometimes, despite themselves, will stop at
nothing to achieve their aims. It's an album about chaos, constant
race, uncertainty, stress, and the struggle to survive."

Experts have called Riverside a stylistic mix of Tool, Porcupine Tree
and Dream Theater, but Duda reckons that other influences are more
dominant on ANNO DOMINI HIGH DEFINITION: "We wanted to reflect the
energy of the early '70s and combine it with modern sounds. Now I
think there is more of a Rush, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple sound. But
at the end of the day, this record ultimately sounds like Riverside."

Available as regular edition and special edition digi-pak with bonus

-Come On A Magical Journey With The Rhythm Devils' CONCERT EXPERIENCE,
As This Experience Is Unlike Any Other Concert

Grateful Dead Offshoot Project The Rhythm Devils Release DVD

Certainly one of the more intriguing Grateful Dead offshoot projects
is the Rhythm Devils. Led by long-time Dead drummers Bill Kreutzmann
and Mickey Hart, the duo enlisted Phish bassist Mike Gordon into their
ranks in 2006 (rounding out the lineup are also guitarist Steve
Kimock, percussionist Sikiru Adepoju and former Deep Banana Blackout
vocalist Jen Durkin), and recently issued their first-ever DVD,
CONCERT EXPERIENCE. Directed by Jeff Glixman and Jim Gentile, CONCERT
EXPERIENCE is a two-DVD set (and 24-page hardcover book) -- disc one
features concert footage from Chicago, Illinois, and Sayerville, New
Jersey recorded in October 2006, featuring all original compositions
with lyrics by Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter. Each song is
represented visually with graphics, images, and effects that
complement the music -- a collection of "video vignettes," if you
will. Disc two features behind the scenes interviews, soundcheck
footage, and excerpts from various live concerts.

Starting in the mid-to-late 1970s, and continuing until the Grateful
Dead's last concert in 1995, most Grateful Dead concerts featured an
extended segment during the second set of improvisational drumming and
percussion by Hart and Kreutzmann who took over the stage as a duo
(with occasional guests). This segment was variously known to fans as
"Rhythm Devils," "Drums," or conversationally as "The Drums." It was
usually followed in post-1979 concerts by another extended
improvisation by the rest of the band, usually without the drummers,
which was known as "Space." The "Rhythm Devils" segment of a Grateful
Dead concert almost always segued out of a full-band song, and the
"Space" segment almost invariably would segue into the beginnings of
another full-band song as the drummers resumed their thrones with the
rest of the band.

This first run of CONCERT EXPERIENCE DVDs comes with a free download
card for one credit, and the audio is available on
http://www.fizzkicks.com/rhythmdevils . Via this link you can stream
full audio, and download the track you want. The rest of the album is
available for download, as well. Describing the concert experience as
a "72-minute magic carpet ride through time and space," Glixman mixed
the performance in 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound at the StarCity Recording
Studios in Bethlehem, PA. Now fans will be able to soak up the full
CONCERT EXPERIENCE of the Rhythm Devils, in the comfort of their own
homes. "It is an experience," says Hart about CONCERT EXPERIENCE.
"Hopefully it will take you to some kind of a place that will create
some kind of good, and you will do some good things with the energy
that you would get from being part of that experience. When I look at
it, I smile; it makes me feel good and it is uplifting. That is what I
would hope you take from it."

-Emperor Multimedia Update

Emperor Multimedia announces it is discontinuing production of its
famous THE ALLIANCE CD as of the end of this year. The organization
cites falling CD sales and a limitation in the legal contracts
governing the release for its termination. They say it may return at a
future date but for now it must go. There is such a large stockpile of
the CD that it will most likely be seen available in retail for some
time to come, however. THE ALLIANCE was the CD that launched the
company. The organization's very first release saw several indie bands
get notoriety. The CD received international commercial airplay upon
release and retail sales in some 100 nations. Derek McDonald, the
producer (and company founder), received numerous requests for his
services by other bands and organizations as a result.

In other news Derek McDonald is back at the helm as pilot of Emperor
Multimedia, after taking a near 9 month absence to attend University
(returning to complete a degree). He will be returning to school this
fall, however. In the mean time reconstruction on many areas including
the Web sites need to be done. Several new artists have entered
Diskery, an operation that has diversified since its Metal roots to
include artists of almost every music taste. McDonald has also written
several Gothic short stories, one of which is being prepped for
publishing now. One U.S. based literary magazine is said to have
offered just under $4,000 for the rights to publish. The first story
in the series "Train Of Consequences," a 4,000-word story in the
Gothic Horror fiction category that has been cited as "a piece of
classic literature in the making," and "perfect for TV," is in the
final stages before release. It is expected to be released this fall.

Emperor Multimedia in league with the Computer Science department at
Ryerson University are set to begin construction on a new type of
electronic computer. The computer will read all formats of media and
be universally compatible to all software. The project is expected to
take 3 years to complete.

That is all, thanks for your continued support.

Available On DVD May 12, 2009

Wild Eye Releasing is pleased to announce the release of cult New York
midnight movie "Gothkill" on DVD, featuring the dark talents of
Flambeaux and FUSE favorite Mistress Juliya.

When Catholic priest and inquisitor Nicholas Dread finds out that
innocents are being burned as witches he decides to do something about
it. Unfortunately for him, his superiors don't agree and he's burned
at the stake alongside two women he forced confessions from. While
dying, Nick curses God and makes a pact with Satan to reign over his
own kingdom someday at any cost.

Now, in 21st century New York City, Dread has returned to finish the
deal. His end of the bargain with Satan must be fulfilled, and many
will die so Dread can take the throne in his kingdom of over one
hundred thousand corrupt souls. He just has to find the right bunch of
victims...and it just so happens the best Goth Club in the city is
ripe for this bloodthirsty butcher bent on revenge!

Can a group of Goths and wanna-be vampires hold their own when the
real thing arrives?

This tongue-in-cheek, JJ Connelly horror fest features a willing cast
of New York underground and avant guard music and fetish performers,
including Flambeaux, Eve Blackwater, and Fuse's Mistress Juliya.

"Grown men shouldn't wear shiny black lipstick, and 'Gothkill' is
bloody good fun."

ADDITIONAL INFO:

DVD artist Mike Hrubovcak: Based out of the Philadelphia/N.Y.C. area,
Mike Hrubovcak has been heavily involved in the metal scene both
musically and artistically since 1992. His artwork has graced many a
death metal album cover and he's worked with a multitude of bands,
record labels and magazines worldwide including Century Media, Metal
Blade and Relapse Records, Revolver and S.O.D. Magazines and
Mortician, Grave, Sinister, Cattle Decapitation and Avulsed among many
others. Besides spending time illustrating album covers, Mike is the
vocalist for the Monstrosity, Vile and others.

Says Hrubovcak about his first foray into the horror DVD market:
"Working on 'Gothkill' was Satanically refreshing and fun."

"Gothkill" director JJ Connelly: First time write/director JJ Connelly
has spent years working behind the scenes, and his technical
experiences run the gamut from underground art films to mainstream
blockbusters. He's also spent years working on Broadway, in
television, live rock shows, and even in opera. It was during this
time that James met many of the cast of "Gothkill." Connelly wrote
prose, poetry and short stories before he started writing for the
screen, and prefers to write escapist material. Although serious
subjects are often touched upon, his aim is to entertain. Look for
more exploitation material in the future.

Says Connelly about his first time at bat in the horror realm:
"Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong during production
of this movie, and yet, I got exactly what I set out to create. A
campy, B-grade midnight movie that's fun to watch."

"Gothkill" star Mistress Juliya ("Devil Girl"): Juliya Chernetsky, AKA
Mistress Juliya, is a television personality best known for her stint
on the Fuse network, formerly known as MuchMusicUSA. She hosted the
heavy metal-themed program "Uranium" and a call-in and e-mail advice
program called "Slave To The Metal," for which Sirius Radio recently
signed her to do a radio version. She currently hosts several online
programs.

After over two years of being absent from Fuse, Juliya announced via
MySpace her return to Fuse to do a weekly hard rock/metal countdown
show. She also appeared on "The Weekly Riff," a panel show hosted by
Steven Smith. On September 22, 2008 she replaced Sami Jarroush as the
host of "No. 1 Countdown Rock."

Juliya and Connelly became friends during her early days at Fuse.
Connelly was on the Fuse lighting crew at the time. Juliya appears in
several scenes throughout "Gothkill," which are a must see for her
legion of loyal fans.

Flambeaux ("Nick Dread"): Scottish-born fire-breathing performance
artist Flambeaux believes he has at least one thing in common with his
character Nick Dread. Both were burned at the stake during the middle
ages. At least, that's one of the reasons he credits his life long
fascination with fire with, and for taking the lead role in
"Gothkill." Long before his recent stint as a contestant on "America's
Got Talent," Flambeaux has been doing fire shows and making exotic
costumes to go with his performances for most of his adult life. He
started out doing street performances in Ireland and Scotland. Since
then, he's done elaborate fire shows at star-studded events from Las
Vegas to Europe. Flambeaux has also had a recurring role on the TV
show "Mission Fashion," wrote and directed his own Off Broadway show
"World Of The P Cult," and has also appeared on "The Late Show With
David Letterman."

-Sweet Cyanide To Release Their Self-TItled Debut Album July 7th On
Break Down Lane Music

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- New York's post-hardcore outfit Sweet Cyanide will
kick off the summer with the release of their self-titled debut CD,
SWEET CYANIDE on July 7th on Break Down Lane Music. Sweet Cyanide has
a knack for blending the energy of more abrasive bands with great pop
hooks, spiked with hair-raising guitar solos. The first single, aptly
titled "Crash Theory," will hit airwaves late August in time for the
band to announce tour dates. "'Crash Theory' was written about a
person who purposely destroys the relationships around themselves just
to thrive on the feeling of loneliness and the high of putting it back
together," explains singer Sal Scoca.

Sweet Cyanide is comprised of four individualistic, yet united
stimulation junkies. "All four of us are literally insane -- but each
in a totally different way," laughs Angelo Fariello. The bassist grew
up idolizing Nikki Sixx, Paul McCartney and Gene Simmons, and loves
that SC's live show is "like a punch in the face." He terms lead
singer, Sal Scoca, an evil genius, getting inside your head and making
you believe you're orange. Sweet Cyanide is the collective endeavor of
members from two N.Y.C. based bands that are well recognized on the
regional scene, Crashbox and Moment Theory. Sal Scoca (Vocals/ Guitar)
and Angelo Fariello (Bass), both from Crashbox developed a solid bond
with Mike Bambace (Drums) and Joe Salvatore (Guitar) from Moment
Theory.

SWEET CYANIDE carries a light sexual theme on the record dealing with
the typical rock concept of sex, drugs, and rock n' roll but with the
band's own little twist. It is a solid and true rock record in the
veins of Motley Crue, Velvet Revolver and all that came before them
that make this album a must-have for your collection!

SWEET CYANIDE track listing:

1. Crash Theory
2. S.L.M
3. Black & White
4. American Me
5. Certain Shadows On The Wall
6. Heart Breaker
7. Between Us
8. I Wish U Would
9. Under The Sun
10. When We Were Young

*** ROCK HARD RIDE FREE ***
*
by Tim Wadzinski (tsw512@...)

-Yes, that was *the* Slash on "American Idol" last night. Wow. He's
been pretty universally regarded as "cool" by rockers for the last 20+
years but I wonder how his stint on the pop show will sit with his
fans. The briefly plugged his upcoming solo album, but his appearance
wasn't cheesy, and it's "Rock Week" after all so why not? (And I swear
I saw Vince Neil in the "Idol" crowd a week or two ago, too.) He
served as a "mentor" for the show's final four contestants, as each
one got to jam onstage with him and his band at the Roxy in Hollywood.
Slash was genial and offered a bit of commentary/criticism for each,
and even let one of them borrow his guitar for a song. Then with Slash
in the audience, the four performed their rock songs live with the
"Idol" house band backing them up. (It seemed like there were a few
extra guys up there, possibly including "Rock Star"/Paul Stanley Band
guitarist Rafael Moreira.) The screechy, flamboyant Adam Lambert did
Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love," 17-year-old Allison Iraheta did
Janis Joplin's "Cry Baby," puppy-eyed Kris Allen did the Beatles'
"Come Together," and Tony Stark look-alike Danny Gokey did Aerosmith's
"Dream On." (And in non-competition moments, Allen and Gokey dueted on
Styx's "Renegade" and Lambert and Iraheta dueted on Foghat's "Slow
Ride." Yes, Foghat.) All in all, it was fun to see Slash on the show,
but the songs the contestants performed left me a little cold.

-The Mortiis press release had me scratching my head. Not to pick on
one guy, but does EVERYONE really need ALL those Web sites and stuff?
When does it all cross the line from being a cool way to keep in touch
with fans to being total overkill? I dunno man, I just don't have time
to check my favorite band's official site, forums, MySpace, Facebook,
Twitter, ReverbNation, YouTube, ILike, and whatever else. It's getting
crazy. Maybe I'm just old.

-So we now have that Dr. Pepper commercial with Gene Simmons and Kiss'
"Calling Dr. Love." Don't forget the recent phone commercial with
Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades," and now I saw the Arby's one with
Warrant's "Cherry Pie." What's next? A Viagra commercial featuring
W.A.S.P.'s "Animal (F*ck Like A Beast"???

-Regarding the Johnny Lima band... The guitarist's name is Craig
Takeshita. Takeshita. Really?

-In my current playlist: Devils Whorehouse - BLOOD & ASHES (Regain
Records), Orange Sky - DAT IZ VOODOO (StarCity Recording Company),
Devin Townsend Project - KI (InsideOut Music/HevyDevy Records).
