Did you hear it this morning on Radio 5 live?

i tuned in at 11.00 am to fim "the Wreckless one" up
against "him & him" in the 1/4 finals for the
unofficial world cup anthem.

Eric was trailing...on the text vote Eric had 42%,
untill i started texting at least 20 times ( untill i
ran out of credit).

The grand total had Eric on 52% and into the final (
yes i know it should be semi but thats how it worked).

Ahhh - no one sent a tour message to the mailing list - this is the first I've
heard about it!

I'm already going to see Projekt Ako support IK+ on Friday when the Brum gig is
(PAK = 3 members of Urusei Yatsura) so it'd be very hard to make it from Digbeth
to Mosely between sets to see them.  How they get two 90's music revival nights
on one day - grumble grumble...

Very annoying, but I guess that they will pack the place out anyway.

I'll buy the single, but I would love to have been there too.

I had a few episodes on tape back in the day.  It was
notable as the first major collaboration between Simon
Pegg, Jessica Stevenson and 'Spaced' director Edgar
Wright and some episodes were very, very funny.

I had a brief chat (by chance) with Edgar a few years
back about it; he enjoyed working with DD and thought
it was good fun.  They wanted to put an episode or
some clips on the 'Spaced' series 2 DVD, but they
couldn't get permission from one of the actor's
agents, as I understand it.
