I think her best partners ever were Blake as a tenor (listen to Puritani!!!!) and Ganassi as a mezzo. I hope you downloaded the concert Devia/Ganassi in Verona: to die for!

I wanted to extend a question for all of us on the group. Which do
you think is Devia's best partner? (not only tenors) My humble
choices would be; from what i heard until now : Alvarez (personal
choice, I love Alvarez's voice next to hers); Alfredo Kraus for the
stunning Lucia they did together; Ewa Podles, for a mythical
Semiramide; Rockwell Blake (two belcanto specialists), Antoniozzi as
the Geronio for her Fiorilla...

Hi Scott! Isn't it great? Devia's voice was at its creamiest at the time. I'm pretty sure this is taken from the Lugano recital 1992. Perhaps Violetta Valery...
