Annual talent search and competition
Each year the Pine Tree State Country Music Assoc.,Inc hold a talent
search and competition. PTSCMA is a non profit organization whose
sole purpose is the promotion of country music and country music
artists here in Maine. One of the ways we do this is to hold an annual
competition. It is open to bands, vocalists, vocal groups,
instrumentalist, songwriters,solo artists, gospel, bluegrass and more.
Categories are broken down to modern and traditional music and
several age categories. (adult , youth and seniors)
The dates for this years competitions are Saturday April 4th for
artists using tracks, at the York County Veteran's Alliance in
Biddeford and Sunday April 19th for bands and live music, at the
Silver Spur Club in Mechanic Falls.Winners will be announced at our
Annual Award Show Sunday May 24th at the Silver Spur.
Entry forms, rules and regulations are now available and we urge arts
to sing up soon as possible so we can get schedules made up. You can
