Dixie Chicks' New Album Set For April
Dixie Chicks' new album for 'people that want to hear
By Neil Haislop
NASHVILLE, TN Thursday Jan.26.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Entertainment
Weekly reports that The Dixie Chicks are releasing their new album without
expectations that country radio will play their music.
The trio reportedly addresses "the incident" (The 2003 UK comments about
President Bush), on the song "Not Ready to Make Nice" -- and a tune called
"Lubbock or Leave It," addresses radio's boycotting of their music.
"We feel free. We go into this thinking no one's going to play it -- and it's
fine. We made it for people who want to hear it," Natalie Maines told EW.
The new album is set for April release.
