To the Dixie Chicks!!
I watched the show on Encore about y'all and was SO touched!
I'm really glad you decided to do it. I personally knew only the outlines of
your story and hadn't really formed an opinion, except I'm from Texas and had,
had the same thoughts as you. So, I wasn't appalled by what you said. But I WAS,
very moved by your story. In fact, I cried through most of it.
I think y'all are very brave, and are incredible people for coming through
what you have and remaining so supportive of each other. Lots of marriages
couldn't have made it though what y'all have!! And to have made it though with
your integrity intact is incredibly awesome. I just want to send y'all a big
Texas HO RAH and know that there are plenty of people out here who support
you! Not just as artists but as individuals.
Keep it up the good work and keep on loving and supporting each other.
