Hello.
I added an A199 spring reverb to my system today.
I really, really love it. Should have gotten this way earlier! It sound
sweet and dark.
One question though: does anyone have some pictures and/or suggestions on
where to mount it in a portable set up?
I have a standard Doepfer A-100P6 case. I found the soft hum kind of
disturbing even with the ringcore transformer.
(and yes I kept it as far away as posssible).
What I have done for now is mounting all the modules in that row a bit more
to the side so that the RCA cord for the reverb tank sticks out past the
frontpanels..
And keep the tank external. This is far from ideal but it really reduces the
hum...
Anyone has a better idea??
