I wanted to add, just in case, the home page was http://www.xpozmagazine.com and the interview was in issue 3. The website will let you download the entire magazine (for free) and the interview was on page 12 I think- but it's under construction.

Yes, I read this at http://www.xpozmagazine.com/xo/issue3.pdf earlier this week and enjoyed it very much. I was glad to find that he's working on some new material that's supposed to be better than The Colored Section!

For those who didn't see it, attached is the Donnie ariticle I wrote in XPOZ. I scanned it for you guys! This was printed a few months back and he was still signed to Motown then. I did not know he was dropped from the label. What a shame-he is areally great artist. It's all about marketing and promotion. The strange thing is is after I wrote this article I sent it to his manager, to give copies to Donnie and the label, and she never got back to me. I even emailed her this article but no response. Donnie was on Motown. He was signed by Kedar. He was fired and replaced by Slyia Rhone. She cleaned house...the only ones to survive her wrath was Kem, and India. I say this to say along with Erykah and Trina Broussard, Donnie is without a lable. It my take a while.

Does anyone know if he's still with Giant Step/Motown?  I am starving
for some new Donnie music!!!  I was in a shoe store last month and
they playes "You Got A Friend".  I stopped shoe shopping and got all
excited.  The store clerk was like, "ooooo k"!  I was appaulled that
she didn't know who he was or had never heard his music.  I have

I'd be interested in the magazine as well, and thanks you two for the info. I've been planning to visit Atlanta (aka: my future home), but haven't as of yet. I'd love to be able to check him out live- that would be absolutely wonderful!
