Since we had rain for many of the football games, we're a little over-stocked on
some concession stand items.  So, we're having a clearance sale on Saturday, Nov
14th 10am-Noon.  Everything will be sold at cost - cash or checks accepted.  If
you cannot make it on Saturday but would like to purchase some items, call Karen
Myer 728-3242.  Everything can be sold by the case or individually.

The end-of-year band banquet will be held Thursday, Nov 12th in the high school
cafeteria.  Each family will be asked to bring either a side dish, dessert or
beverage like we did for the August picnic.

What to wear:  Black pants, orange sash, black socks

Performance will be after the game.  Senior Recognition will be prior to the
game.

The Band Booster meeting that was postponed last week will happen tomorrow night
in the band room at 7:00pm.

I encourage anyone and everyone to attend.  We would love to see some new faces!
We'll keep things light and moving along, I promise.

One of the big topics of this meeting will be planning our end-of-year party for
the marching band.  We'd like to hear your ideas!

Just a reminder that the scrip card program is still in full-swing and the
holidays will be here before you know it.  The next order date is Nov 3rd. 
Order forms can be found in the wooden box next to Mr. Williams' office door.

The fruit sale orders are due Nov 11th and the website will close Nov 15th.  The
dates on the hand-outs were incorrect - a new letter will be sent home for
clarification.

Sorry, I mistakenly wrote that the cost of student/senior tickets is $11.  The
actual cost is $12.

To summarize:

Adult tickets:  $15 advanced, or $20 at the gate
Student/Seniore tickets:  $12 advanced, or $15 at the gate

ACC tickets are now available for purchase from the Band Boosters.  The cost is
$15 for adults and $11 for students/senior citizens.  That's a nice discount
from the cost of $20 and $15 at the gate!

We also make a small profit for tickets sold through Band Boosters, so please
encourage your friends and family members to come support the band!

You can purchase tickets from Nathan Raupach or Karen Myer during these
dates/times:

Wednesday:  Nathan will be selling tickets at the concession stand during the
soccer game from approximately 6:30pm until the end of the game

Friday:  Karen will be a chaperone for the football game on Friday night.  Your
band member can purchase tickets from her during the bus ride or during some
off-time.

Saturday:  Karen will be available before and after the Saturday band practice,
which is from 11-2pm.

Wednesday 10/28 - Parade cancelled.

Concession stand is open for the soccer game at 7pm if you can volunteer to
help.  Please be there by 6pm to help set up.

Thursday 10/29 - Rehearsal 3-5:30pm

Friday 10/30 - Football game at Steelton-Highspire.  Arrive at school: 5:15,
depart 5:45.  Halftime performance.

Saturday 10/31 - Rehearsal 11-2pm.  (Eat lunch at home prior to rehearsal)

Sunday 11/1 - ACC's @Hersheypark Stadium.  Arrive at school: 10am, depart
10:30am, performance 1:15pm.

Ticket info for Sunday will be available later today.

The Wendy's fund-raiser for tonight has been rescheduled for Monday, November
9th.

Our Band Booster meeting originally scheduled for tomorrow night (Oct. 26) has
been postponed due to the rescheduled competition in Middletown.

Look for a new date soon.

Chapter Championships have been postponed until Monday evening.  The performance
schedule remains the same (EP performs at 6:05).

Students are asked to stay after school on Monday.  We will have a brief
rehearsal before departing for Middletown.  Please bring a snack and plan ahead
if you are typically hungry following the school day.

Tickets are still available from Mr. Williams at the High School band room from
2:30 until approximately 4:00 Monday.

Halloween Parade - October 28 - The parade starts at 7pm ending at the football
field.  The parade committee has asked that we open the stand for light
refreshments.

Susquenita Football Game - November 6 - This is Senior Recognition Night - Many
of the regular volunteers will be out on the field for this event.  If you do
not have a senior, we encourage you to help out and give those parents the night
off.

We could use a few more volunteers to work in the concession stand at the Friday
