"Love and Legacy" is the story of us and him. Elvis Presley has had an ongoing impact on the lives of people all over the the world. He continues to generate interest and fascination as well as a fierce loyalty and love among fans both young and old as we near the 25th anniversary of his passing. The "Love and Legacy" discussion group was founded on October 17th, 2000 and was meant for folks who wanted to share their memories and experiences of being a fan in a positive way with others, for those who like to discuss the different aspects of Elvis' life and career in a way that does justice to his memory, and for those who enjoy talking about what it means to be an Elvis fan and how it has impacted their lives in today's world. On the one year anniversary of its founding we wanted to say thank you to the man who brought us all together as friends, and through whom we have found new ways of sharing all the blessings of being a fan of the greatest entertainer the world will ever know. Debate and active dialogue is highly encouraged, although the line will be drawn when necessary and the contributions and attitude of a member do more harm than good to the essence of the discussion.
