I am a composer studying shakuhachi, and I have written some pieces for
myself and others to play, posted on my web site in PDF format. They are in
Western notation (5-line, treble clef) and all written as if for a 1.8 shak,
but I play them on a variety of instruments. I tried to make them simple to
play but did not always succeed.

In the future I will be composing other pieces, some perhaps in traditional
notation. Check my web page now and then...

www.hand2ear.org - go to the 'scores' page and choose 'shakuhachi'.

Best,

Charles Turner
