Hi Kiku - Hope you are well.
It's a shame you decided to teach a beginners' course at such short notice - I'm otherwise commited, but I would have loved to have attended, and to have met and heard other shakuhachi players.
But anyway, have a great week-end - I'm sure it will be highly successful!
I hope to be ready for another lesson by the time you are next in the country (August? July is Sydney, am I right?).
All the best,

But we have also decided to have a beginners' class, which David
Bowdler and myself will teach. Other classes include shin- and sankyoku
by Michael Soumei Coxall and Zensabo honkyoku taught by me.
String players will be: Shino Arisawa (shamisen) and Keiko Kitamura
Walker (koto).
The AGM for ESS will be held at 12 pm on Saturday.
Hope to see you there!
Kiku
