There is a performance of the Karl Jenkins Requiem by the
Sittingbourne Choral Society, this Saturday November 1st. 7.30pm at
the United Reform Church, High St, Sittingbourne, Kent. Parts of the
Requiem are based on Haiku and the Orchestral parts are scored for
small orchestra plus Shakuhachi. On this occasion the Shakuhachi will
be played by David Bowdler.
