Hello again,

Well, it's been a hectic new year for Ex-Rental so far.... just as we
were preparing for next Monday's show at Madame Jo Jo's, John decided
to leave the band!

But being true showbiz professionals, we'll still be playing the
show, as a trio. We don't know whether or not we'll recruit a
replacement for John yet - we'll wait to see how the show goes on
Monday.

Anyway, the website has been hastily updated this evening - it's been
temporarily trimmed down to one action-packed page, but you can still
find plenty of information on it, plus excerpts of two recent demo
tracks:

"Feeling Ex-Rental" - you'll realise we've been listening to
Destiny's Child when you hear this!

"Situation: Vacant" - the demented number with which we currently
open our live show

Each of the four tracks currently on the website have been remixed
this weekend to show how we sound without guitar (not very different,
actually) and all of them will feature in Monday's live set.

Anyway, hope some of you can make it to the show after all this...!
