Well, Christmas is upon us again, so it's time for the annual Ex-Rental mp3
Christmas present, exclusive to everyone on this mailing list!

This year, it's the demo Lucy and I recorded back in October, "No Scrubs
TBHOS". If you were at the Fan Club's launch party for Richard X's Human
League compilation, "The Golden Hour Of The Future" (in all good shops now,
with sleeve notes by myself), you'll remember us playing this as a kind of
bizarre tribute to Richard's classic Girls On Top bootleg single "Being
Scrubbed". Instead of mixing TLC's "No Scrubs" with The Human League's
"Being Boiled", we mixed it with our old cover of The Human League's "The
Black Hit Of Space", retaining some of the words from the latter... sort of!

It's a mess, but it just about works... and it's free! So Merry Christmas -

And the Human League connections don't stop there, I'm afraid - I've just
remixed their 1979 single "Empire State Human" for Virgin Records! I've no
idea what they're going to do with it, but I'll be playing it on New Year's
Eve when I DJ with the Fan Club resident DJs and Bluetones singer Mark
