Hello again... here's a quick update on Ex-Rental happenings...


NEW REMIXES

I've recently completed two new remixes for other bands:

Bis - "Cubis [I Love You]" (dark side of the disco mix) - this will appear
on their forthcoming limited edition 12" single, along with the excellent
original version and another remix by the infamous 'bootleg' mix team
Frenchbloke & Sonof.

Winterbrief - "I Want To Be Sexy" (bikini overkill mix) - this should appear
on their forthcoming album for the LA independent label Heartcore, alongside
remixes by Baxendale and others.

By the way, Bis and Winterbrief are among the artists who have recently
remixed Ex-Rental ("And Sometimes" and "Masculin Feminin" respectively) and
their remixes will appear on the forthcoming "This Is A Demonstration" EP,
released by Intellectos this summer.


DJ ACTION

As you may know, Bis are sadly splitting in May, and will be playing a
handful of farewell shows around the UK. Their last ever London show will
be at the Institute of Contemporary Art on April 26th, where I'll be DJ-ing
after their live set, alongside Cornel from Electric:Boogie.

I'm also DJ-ing between bands for the first half of the Snaregirl label's

AND THE REST

I'm now finally getting on with the Ex-Rental debut album again, after
numerous distractions of remixes, etc (!).

Hanin Elias & Alec Empire, Freezepop, Winterbrief, Blow Up, The Guy Who
Invented Fire and members of Bis and The Faint. See
