Repeat: These are only tests as research on posting video samples of
NL-X and next week's work for an entirely different project. The video
is poor, the audio is awful. Other than that, great fun and the only
performance document from the era. Put on your respective MP3s, LP or
whatever and get your own thing going.
Now posted using "Flash Video" which only requires the free Flash
Player 7 from Macromedia. The video is streaming on either PC or Mac.
I'd think some form of broadband is requisite as these are now 50 mb
files. They do not permanently download to your drive, only to play.
Also posted, Work the Beat - the opening song from the set. The
beginning isn't trimmed, so there is 30-60 seconds of sequencer before
the song, and it probably runs into the next song or interlude. Check
after 1 am 12/30, as it still has 75 mb to upload to the server and
seems to be taking its sweet time.
See more of Mark W., some of Michael and Mike S. too as the camera
zooms around a little.
On the NL-X site, the free song was changed to "One Day in May" last
month -- more representative of the rest of the CD. Played and
arranged, not sequenced.. it is ambient but not abstract in nature.
