Having problems with message search?
If your old HP has USB ports (it should, my PC is even older than that!), then I can recommend the Midiman 2x2, which I am using with Sonar 2, it's very cheap and I've never had any problem with it (I'm running Win98se)

Thanks Tim! I'm kind of disorganized at the moment, temporarily retired my Amiga to get it rebuilt and upgraded. So I need to add midi ports and software to my 3 year old HP Pavilion. If anyone has any suggestions I'm listening!! Perhaps when I get everything up and running temporarily I can share some patches (think I even have a bunch of old TX81z patches on disk somewhere).
