Description
The principal focus of the group is to discuss the life and work of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. Postings on any aspect of Fischer-Dieskau's life, career, and recordings are welcome. Discussion of related topics is also permitted, as long as there is some connection to Fischer-Dieskau, e.g. singers who influenced him, social/historical background, lieder-singing traditions, etc. Messages in English and German are welcome. I will translate messages at the request of either the writer or subscribers.
