Re: [ForSq-Sub] lyrics

Hey Andy Bender do you still have all those old recordings of the early live shows. I have a few and looked back for this song but couldn't seem to find it.

It seems really crazy sitting in my office 10 years after the demise of the group discussing songs. However when I think back on the 100's of bands I have seen in my life none have come close to matching the energy and promise of the Squirrels. When you where at one of there shows you  felt that you where seeing something different. Life changing. Music was born again. Like an early Beatles show. You didn't leave the bar to go chase some girl or go home early so you wouldn't be tired in class, you stayed, smiled a big smile, and danced like a fool.

Some of you who never had the pleasure live will listen to the studio albums and think "what is this fool talking about?" But those of you who where there are thinking " The Beatles who?"

I honestly do not remember most of the lyrics I sang for Our Times.
I
wrote some down before the show but by the time I played I didn't
remember them exactly and just threw some words together to rhyme at
the end of  every other line.  The lyrics for the chorus I sang were

Come around girl and you will find
Yeah come around baby and you will find
Our times, these are our times

instead of "take that ? look and you will find" or whatever lyrics
Jack sang, I wish I could comprehend the real lyrics but its too
fuzzy..does anyone know the real lyrics?

but anyway, I love playing that song and it was a great opening song
to play before my other songs (one original, simon and garfunkel "the
boxer and cat stevens "moonshadow")
